You'd probably have to make another stencil for the name, and I think you'd have to leave out the swirls on the bottom, but other than that, it's pretty much stencible already.

Yesterday I finished my Bomb the Music Industry! t-shirt which I made with nothing but an old cereal box, a ball-point pen and my old PE (or gym for you Americans) t-shirt.

I'll post pics soon, at the moment I'm just trying to wear it for as many days as I can before someone finds it and wants to wash it, which just isn't punk at all... :upset:

I've just read the Crass history and I feel I need to do something to put a point across to the general internet public. How does one make an internet radio station?

I'm not really sure how you did that, but it looks sweet.

A warning to all you taggers out there: If you're going to tag, make sure you have a good tag name, or this may happen to you.

One of my neighbors, who's this dumbass who thinks anarchy means fucking shit up for the sake of it. Basically, he decided that he was going to be hardcore, and made up what he thought was a great tag name. I've only seen one of his tags, and it was located behind a bookstore in our neighborhood. This is his tag:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/buddah.jpg

Buddha, spelled wrong, with an anarchy sign for the A. Well, my friends and I all had a good laugh about BUDDAH. Anytime we'd see him we'd yell out BUDDAH (kind of like the SNL skit where the jewish ladies say "her legs were like buddah"). He'd give us an angry glare.

We walked by that tag very often, and one day there was an arrow written in pencil pointing at it, that said "retart." None of my friends drew it, so clearly we weren't the only ones getting a good laugh from this piece of graffiti.

Well slowly, this tag became covered in much more graffiti. A lot of people writing things like "is a retard" and "you suck dick" and my brother wrote "I can't believe it's not..." above it. He or his friends would retaliate back by trying to cross it out, but it didn't work. It became this:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/buddah2.jpg

Some of the graffiti around it doesn't make sense unless you know my neighborhood. It's classic. A few days after this picture was taken, it was all painted over.

Moral of the story: If you're going to be a tagger, don't be a lame one.

Rise Me Up 11-27-2005 11:38 AM

That was entertaining as hell. ^^^

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 11-27-2005 11:49 AM

Warning to all of you in cold states, many types of spray paints get a different runnier consistency in cold weather and it makes it difficult to make a stencil becuase of the runny paint.

I fucked up my Against Me! one. :(

asdf 11-27-2005 12:02 PM
That was entertaining as hell. ^^^
Oh, it was really entertaining for us. Every time we'd walk past it, there'd be something new. Anytime we passed him, we'd say "Buddah!" And his little freshman sidekick we occasionally called bread. (who's real name is sean, which is mentioned on the graffiti surrounding buddah). I even drew a nice sketch of Bread and Buddah, but it didn't turn out as planned.

Hopefully, he will be dumb enough to tag again.

Rise Me Up 11-27-2005 12:05 PM

Haha. Did he know he was spelling it wrong?

asdf 11-27-2005 12:07 PM
Haha. Did he know he was spelling it wrong?
Yep. I talked to him about it. I said "you know, you're spelling Buddha wrong, and that that's not how an anarchy symbol really looks. That's more of the bastardized hot topic version." to that he replied: "I know it's spelled wrong and I know it's the wrong anarchy symbol. I'm trying to be an individual."

I don't see what the pentagram has anything to do with anything.

Because he's an individual remember?
Because he's an individual remember?
Individuals are allowed to make sense...

I will never have my own tag. They are so lame.
