Firecracker 01-09-2007 11:09 AM

All the accents in England are different.
I had study leave day today.
Did so much maths, my brain is swimming in it.

Eliminator 01-09-2007 11:10 AM

Firecracker 01-09-2007 11:16 AM

Hey there kid.
How's it going?

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:17 AM

Maths was probably my only bad subject today.

omgomgomgomg

i hate math

i don't understand any of it

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:27 AM

Neither do I, I'm totally failing that class. I got 11/40 for my last test cause I'm bad at it yet somehow I'm in the top class.

English, music, modern studies and biology are the only subjects I really like.

Firecracker 01-09-2007 11:34 AM

I seem to be better at maths than many other subjects.

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:38 AM

My friend says she thinks maths is the best subject, I don't know how anyone could think that.

Eliminator 01-09-2007 11:41 AM

ugh stop saying "maths" you ****ing retards

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:43 AM

I'm British so we say maths. I can't help my heritage.

Eliminator 01-09-2007 11:46 AM

"maths" is plural

it doesn't even make sense

"Why say George, how many maths were there today?"

"I'm not sure, perhaps five?"

Firecracker 01-09-2007 11:47 AM

Whatever, it's maths, because it is.
OKAY.

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:48 AM

Good point, but I've been brought up to say "maths" so I'll just keep it that way.

Dead Star 01-09-2007 11:48 AM
"maths" is plural

you say MathematicS

hence shortened to Maths.

Eliminator 01-09-2007 11:49 AM

i don't say mathetmatics

Neoteric 01-09-2007 11:53 AM

You say mathematic?

o__O

Eliminator 01-09-2007 11:57 AM

i say math

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 12:09 PM

It is Maths because in the subject of Maths you would do more than one mathematical calculation so it should be plural.

Eliminator 01-09-2007 12:11 PM

yes so in history, because we learn more than one history of something, it should be called histories

when i read, i'm reading more than one word, so i should call it readings

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 12:15 PM

Basically the language is ENGLISH therefore were right.

but anyway look at this

Firecracker 01-09-2007 12:16 PM

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 12:18 PM
'Math' said with an american accent makes me want to throw up.
Me too.

Firecracker 01-09-2007 12:23 PM

Dorset accent > any other accent.

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 12:26 PM

ewww no.

yorkshire accent obviosuly pwns all.

although mine isnt that strong.

Firecracker 01-09-2007 12:29 PM

Never.
The strong ones cannot ever be understood, so not much them.
But it's funny.

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 12:48 PM

Most people i know struggle to be understood outside of the norht of england. People at Uni think my accent is strong, but there southerners.

Pazz 01-09-2007 01:57 PM

I say "math" because that's how everyone says it.

I find math incredible easy. I got 90% last year and I'm aiming to top that this year.

B 01-09-2007 02:27 PM

guy is it bad that i get high literally every single day

i wonder how bad for your health that is

not much worse than smoking butts i guess

physically anyways

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 03:02 PM

Some people have been saying it can cause serious brain damage but im not sure how true that is.

B 01-09-2007 03:04 PM

i cant see it

maybe though that would suck

definately with other drugs but i dont know about this

Permanent Solution 01-09-2007 03:06 PM

prolonged use of any drug is bad for your health...isn't that common sense?

B 01-09-2007 03:08 PM

yeah im more worried about mental than physical health though unless its serious physical health not something gay like cancer which im bound to get anyways

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 03:13 PM

If you do it everyday your going to eventually come to rely on it, like not be able to do anything without it.

encmetalhead 01-09-2007 03:18 PM

which would be gay

B 01-09-2007 03:21 PM
If you do it everyday your going to eventually come to rely on it, like not be able to do anything without it.
nah bro thats not true

your body cant become addicted to weed

Permanent Solution 01-09-2007 03:22 PM

It should be noted that in most instances, something you do while inebriated is not as likely to be remebered sober, but the next time you're inebriated you are more likely to remember it. So the more time spent inebriated, the more you'll need to be inebriated in order to function, past a certain point.

lunchforthesky 01-09-2007 03:23 PM
nah bro thats not true

I would of thought you could become addicted to anything.

B 01-09-2007 03:51 PM
I would of thought you could become addicted to anything.
yeah mentally I suppose you could if you were a really dependant person
