So I downloaded DDO again, since there's no subscription fee anymore and I have virtually no money atm. Thought I'd have to get something to do so I don't just lie in bed all day in my spare time like I've been doing for the past two weeks.

DDO is pretty fun, mainly since it's free now. i never enjoy it for long though.

Well, the combat system [i]is[/i] really well done. The overall feel of the game gets old pretty fast, though. I think it's mainly because it isn't one big open world, like WoW (yes, the instances and raids are instanced, but the rest isn't) for example. Even when you're outside, you sort of feel like you're in a room, because everything is instanced.

Dark Age of Camelot was the best mmo game. WoW and other new stuff are ****.

i got it when it first came out but never really got into it. i think the highest level i got to was like 25 or 30. the only mmo ive ever really enjoyed was star wars galaxies, before they ruined it. completely player run sandbox economy = awesome.

WoW will probably always be my favorite MMO, but I like DDO's combat system.

And ****ing hell.. I have yet to come across any vocalist that sounds as disturbing as Varg.
