post a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper that says "i love mx" then i'll believe you
That is a really complicated way of doing that, but I promise I will think on it, as soon as I figure out what 'mx' means...am a little slow, by now, you see... You know, I gotta have some admiration for this guy Alex, if you think so much of him that you believe he would be so dedicated as to come up with something like 35 YouTube pages, trying to perpetuate this female performance artist persona, (including the soap opera pages, hee.) I mean, what guy would even bother to do that? I promise I will post some vids of myself, as soon as I get this tech stuff down a little better, and can get some real art vids happening...but, by then, it will be all anti-climactic, and all about just another ol' lady thing, or whatever...and this is just so much more fun, I gotta tell ya. If I'd really wanted to perpetuate something, I would have tried to pretend I was younger, but, then I wouldn't be able to ever talk about the cool things that really happened then... I mean, who else is even going to know what I'm talking about, but the f-ing elite, right here...? |
what are your favorite bm albums

that girls got issues
that girls got issues
I don't have issues. Well, not about you guys. I think you're all really great. That's all I've ever said about you, isn't it? If I get worked up, it's just because I'm having fun, and all the male energy around here is very lovely. I thought this was the place to come and talk about our edgy art...
what are your favorite bm albums
That's a hard question. I find it hard to even pick a favorite band, because there's so many amazing ones. It I had to just pick from the first ones that come to mind, I would have to say a toss up between A Blaze in the Northern Sky, and Fimbulwinter, Servants of Sorcery... ...I don't own any of those albums, though, but I'll bet one of you guys do. I spend all my extra money on music equipment, lately, and for the dang internet, hee...concert tickets, and tee shirts, whenever possible... |
I told my sound guy, "They don't think I'm real. They think I'm, like, this guy named...Alex"...
He said, "Well, that's kind of a weird compliment, in a way"...but, who the hell would make up a person like me...? Jeeps...
stranger things have happened with this boy |
stranger things have happened with this boy
Well, you've got me thinking he's got to be at least a little interesting. I mean, how many people even know who Monte Cazazza is? ...referring to those outside of these walls, of course...but, I certainly won't pry. Sounds a bit sensitive subject... |
probably everyone in the industrial thread
probably everyone in the industrial thread
Yes, that's true... I haven't gone over to that thread, much, but I should check it out, and the Punk one, of course. I'm just so stuck on this page, I'm sorry, hee. I'm just impressed with it. This page kicks ass. A lot of the other Metal forums seem pretty slow in comparison to this one... |
Is anyone actually reading all those posts?
No. |
No...*

I already debunked that theory

Holy shit, that's saying a lot, considering how dead this place has become. So, favourite black metal albums this year so far? Mine: Primordial - Redemption at the Puritan's Hand Moonsorrow - Varjoina kuljemme kuolleiden maassa Altar of Plagues - Mammal Woods of Desolation - Torn Beyond Reason Oskoreien - Oskoreien |
i haven't listened to much but I thought these were worth mentioning
Bone Fragments - Too Gruesome To Be Real Hass - Unprocessed Dementia |
Holy shit, that's saying a lot, considering how dead this place has become.
This thread is a bit addictive. I haven't been around to all of them, or anything, but most I've seen can be pretty slow. I like the forums on the band websites, but those can be incredibly slow. That 70000 Tons of Metal site looks quite interesting. They go on an actual cruise together. Now, that's the spirit. There are some decidedly girly threads on there, to. Lots of Metal girls on that site, but talking about guys, and talking directly to guys is two very different things... |
I heard about that cruise listening to wmfu sounds pretty fun
|
You're almost a century late for the advent of the Dada movement, dude.
I heard about that cruise listening to wmfu sounds pretty fun
I know. Doesn't it? Someone was selling their ticket on there for a grand. A little steep for me at the moment, but maybe next year...
Contrary to popular belief, Haz and I are the only people here who have listened to Monte Cazazza others just know of his legacy from us circlejerking him in the industrial thread when it comes to edgy art nothing is edgier than the decadent performance artist Pink and Yellow
Thanks, I hadn't heard of Pink and Yellow. I will check it out. I could go on for hours about how I think that Industrial music related to Black Metal. I love that subject, but since have been so wordy already, this time, will save it for another day. I am just so psyched I had the guts to finally show you guys my vids, hee... Industrial music is like the one that got away, for me, or something, because Kristine Ambrosia quit, and the rest of that group disintegrated. Not Monte, and Boyd, and Mark Pauline, etc. They kept going, but not the ones I was working more closely with. Someone pointed out I seem a little irritable, or something. If I do, that's probably what it is. In those days it was a real little scene of people, very easily accessible to other artists. Now, of course, the word 'scene' doesn't have very good connotations.
i bet you're not even familiar with Monte Cazazza's legendary exploits in writing DADA on bricks and throwing them off of buildings at little children
Did he do that? Tsk, Monte...I like what he did to the stairwell at the college, though I never saw it... |
do you like Little Annie

@ ablazeinmynorthernhi: ever heard Tamtrum?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaJNr0u_iyo One of the members used to be in a bm band, I think. I know this is entry level industrial, but good stuff nonetheless. Grendel is pretty great too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k-QHA-QAMY |
Thanks, you guys. Will totally check it out. It sounds very interesting. I definitely would love to learn about some newer stuff. I really feel behind sometimes, hee
