Yep I'm gonna probably go for German studies and plan on doing a lot of site seeing, plan on going to lots of countries hopefully meet some more mxers too.

Today I had to do a little talk in front of the class in German class, but I could only fill about 2 mins in stead of five. I gotta learn to stop rushing through this sort of stuff and properly prepare my **** if I ever want to become a teacher.

are you going to teach french

or you could be the awesome teacher that lets students out 15 minutes early

I actually just want to study English, but I can't think of a profession to go with that study that isn't in some multinational company, doing boring ****. So I'll just become an English teacher. There's a major shortage anyway. Afterwards I'll probably continue studying for linguistics and ethymology and stuff.

Well, our education system works a little different. We have different grades of high school diplomas. I graduated from high school with a "low" diploma (not the lowest), because I didn't do jack **** back then. So I was limited in my options for what to study next. I wasted two years on some shitty graphic design school and now I'm basically working on getting that higher "high school" diploma. I'm not actually in high school, but pretty much a high school for adults.

i barely know how the american system works other than
pre-kindergarden-->elementary school-->middle school/Jr. highschool-->highschool-->college-->graduate school

Ours is :

Nursery > Primary School > Secondary School > 6th Form > University.

Well this is the academic route, my mate who's doing an apprenticeship where he works 4 days a week then goes to college one day a week for like 8 hours. He obviously completed his secondary education though.

Hm, we pretty much have:

pre-elementary school > elementary school > high school > college (but it's a little different if you have a lower high school diploma) or university. Or you can go straight to uni after high school if you have the highest high school diploma.

education is confusing

elementary/grade school (the one i went to was kindergarten -> grade 8) -> high school -> post secondary
