High protein/low carb diet is the way to go. And start with something heavier, you'll get (visible) results quicker.

i did that atkins diet like 4 years ago and lost like 25 pounds in 2 weeks.

but i had zero energy so it sucked.

adb 09-09-2009 10:54 PM

the body needs carbs

low carb bad

RetiredAt21 09-09-2009 10:54 PM

Low carbs, not no carbs.

adb 09-09-2009 10:54 PM

low fat is better than low carbs

RouteOne 09-09-2009 10:54 PM

Really, just cut the vast majority of sugar our of your diet, don't eat as much red meat and partake in an hour of exercise a day.

adb 09-09-2009 10:56 PM

sugar sucks yeah

especially drinks

adb 09-09-2009 10:58 PM

hardest is chips, I gotta have my chips

RetiredAt21 09-09-2009 10:59 PM

Mmmmmm chips.

adb 09-09-2009 11:01 PM

what do you usually eat everyday

like a typical lunch/dinner

Deth 09-09-2009 11:01 PM

cut out soda and that alone will probably do wonders

adb 09-09-2009 11:02 PM

same q for u deth

Deth 09-09-2009 11:05 PM

usually a bowl of cereal in the morning, or if I don't have it due to time/lack of hunger I'll take a banana and a granola bar to class

lunch I'll usually have a PB&J or a bagel or something simple I make at home

dinner is chicken breast with pasta/cous cous/rice whatever or eggs with something but generally chicken in some form with some vegetables shoved in

have a bowl of cereal now-ish

I drink about 4 cups of tea a day, water while on campus and maybe half a cups worth of juice which I dilute down with water

if I work out, I'll have some protein powder with some milk afterwards

comprehensive

TimJim 09-09-2009 11:07 PM

i used to drink about a litre and a half or two litres of soda every shift at work, and when i cut that out i lost 20lbs

RetiredAt21 09-09-2009 11:08 PM
what do you usually eat everyday

Rice with something (typically meat) on it.

And I drink lots of whey protein.

nevertoolate 09-09-2009 11:09 PM

Rice w/ meat is a perfect meal
