I just remember that scene when he is walking down the street with a paint can, and then he picks up some woman in a club, and then I turned the channel. My favorite soundtracks would have to be Almost Famous, Forrest Gump or of course, Wayne's World

There's a very small part of Taurus that sounds like Stairway, but I don't think it's enough to say Page stole it. Just coincidence, there are plenty of songs that have similar parts, it happens.

Speaking of Spirit, that song "Fresh Garbage" is pretty good.

It is very concievable that Page did lift a bit from Taurus, because early on Led Zeppelin sometimes covered Fresh Garbage live. Jimmy was clearly familiar with Spirit's first album.

Why can't we just close this conversation? Huh? Nobody really cares if he stole Stairway from another song cause you can't prove that. And as jpj says, there are PLENTY of songs sounding the same way. But does anyone argue about them? NO. Everybody know by now that Jimmy Page has stolen a few songs.
