|
lulz
|
hahaha
|
lol Evan are you sure you weren't bad for the rest of that sentence?
Not that it should be a bannable offense to say that unless it's a preschool forum. |
hah
|
lol Evan are you sure you weren't bad for the rest of that sentence?
Not that it should be a bannable offense to say that unless it's a preschool forum.
nah in the message you get for why you get banned he said "i dont know what a jihadist is so im banning you" |
i've never been banned from anywhere
|
Haha. Well, he might have been screwing with you there. You'd have to be utterly retarded not to know what a jihad is, especially if you're American. That'd be like a dartboard not knowing what a dart is.
|
Aaron called me Dave Mustaine

Yeah that's a great album.
I have this Isis remixes double CD. It'd be a task to listen through it all in one go. |
give me a philosophy text anyday
i dont like reading philosophy. the wording is too dense for me. I like hearing synopsis of their ideas though
|
Yeah there is a lot of padding in them.
I also like reading synopses of them, saves me the annoyed feeling I get when I have to read through heaps of something I don't agree with. |
thus spake zarathustra is not dense at all, it's a breeze to read
|
Yeah Nietzsche is a good bit of fun, he's a bit dreary at times though.
I feel for anyone who tried to publish their thoughts back when the Catholic church would kill you for not thinking like them. |
yeah
i really must purchase The Running Man on DVD |
All the books I listed are more or less, about the approaches to science, both in a historical context and further the actual application, why something more or less "works", or what we value as a correct answer in the current paradigm, identifies the different events which can take place during a paradigm, which have historically hinted towards a paradigm shift etc (which historically has repeated the same process numerous times during the evolution in science), and a lot of different approaches to logical arguments (which are hot).
They're not very intense reads (well, Conjectures... re. Popper gets kinda intense), if a lazy stoner can chill back and read them, they're ok :) |
Can I please have free copies?
If not, how much is one. |

It's not philosophy, but Noam Chomsky's Hegemony or Survival is good sociopolitical commentary. You'd probably like it better; he's a linguist so he doesn't waffle. |
Chomsky is great. I watched Manufacturing Consent not all that long ago, superb documentary about the media and how it runs everything.
Also, The Corporation was a great doco directed by the same guy featuring Chomsky amongst others. |
He's too easily dismissed in PNWI. Bitches.
Go contribute to my R&M Post-Rock Thread Haz, you saucy minx. |
