By the way, Jesse, if your bandwidth restrictions don't affect youtube, check this out.

Maybe you've already seen it. I just saw it for the first time last night.
Unfortunately, it does. I'll save the link though.

Spiff: Go look at my Myspace, I have noise there. And I'm whoring out the new song, big time.

Ohmygod. I'm listening to the set from the Viper Room and he is *definitely* fucked up during this set.

Anyone have NV4 3345 in powertab/GP form?

At one of his first solo concerts, some guy stood up(it was at a college somewhere) and said "Nobody likes your music, we're just sorry for you"
To which he replied:
"Well.....Fuck you"

That's harsh. Before Estress, he's like "Make the guitar fucking louder. That was always the problem when I played with River Phoenix. I couldn't play his guitar. Maybe if I had, I would have died instead."

Just like... wtf? Lol. I can't imagine being that far gone.

Efrim 10-11-2006 07:44 PM

Christ, that is spaced. I'm assuming you've heard of his encounter with the spirit?

BenJammin 10-11-2006 07:45 PM

I dunno. I just know that he's pretty whacked out on heroin. The rendition of "My Smile Is A Rifle" that he does, though, is absolutely heart-wrenching.

Thonk 10-11-2006 07:50 PM

I've never really listened to John's work.

Efrim 10-11-2006 07:50 PM

Ok, you have to hear this story. In his own words:
"I remember once, a spirit came to my house, and we talked and we were friends, and he stayed the night, and I made him breakfast, and then he was gone and I was sad."
He's always been a spiritual guy.

Ben, is this the 97' show you just sent me, and is it really 24mb?

That's both of the shows put together. They're in uber low sound quality.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 07:54 PM

Who are you talking about?

BenJammin 10-11-2006 07:54 PM
Who are you talking about?
John Frusciante.

BenJammin 10-11-2006 07:55 PM

Actually, Jesse, some investigative searching has turned up the same bootlegs on this website.

http://jftab.free.fr/

Go to Diverse in the menu, and then click show. The ones that have mp3s will say. The rest of the tracks for the '97 show are there. And there are some others, too.

Efrim 10-11-2006 07:55 PM

John Frusciante.
Dude, that's like....64kbps. That's cool, I just wasn't sure if they were supposed to be so short.

Nice, thanks again.

HEY EVERYONE

i suggest you go to www.smokescreen.tv and order one of their free cd's. it's pretty cool, it's a profesionally recorded cd that they send you for free, no strings attached. you don't even pay shipping.

even if you don't like the music, just give it to someone else or something.
Any dinner ideas?
What's available to you?

The Brad 10-11-2006 08:11 PM

I could have enchiladas for the third night in a row, freezer food or go out.

Akira 10-11-2006 08:11 PM

You can never have enchiladas too many nights in a row.

I am pretty sure you can, I had them for lunch and dinner yesterday. Hahah

The Brad 10-11-2006 08:17 PM

Yeah screw it I'll man up and cook them. I don't wanna go out anyway because dining alone is for losers.... losers like me.

Hmm, maybe that is pushing it. What options are there if you go get something?

nicatterberry 10-11-2006 08:20 PM

Hello.

The Brad 10-11-2006 08:21 PM

Pretty much anything you can imagine, other than Ethiopian.

Thonk 10-11-2006 08:23 PM

So, I have to write a narrative for my English class and i've no clue on how to start it out.

P.S. Anyone want to start a band called Rofyl?
