David Botrill is there wonderful producer, instead of making the music he gives wonderful ideas to enforce the music. Insteaed of creating he is basically beefing up tools ideas. he has been with them since Ænima.

Anyone have any live videos they'd want to post, or send me? :-*

I've checked Limewire, and I can't find any on there.

clearvision 03-16-2005 11:16 AM

ThePatient 03-16-2005 11:31 AM

Adam Jones is GOD 03-16-2005 12:42 PM

Im currently (attempting) to upload H now, but im thinking most of you will have this one.

Edit: Dammit, managed to cancel it. Besides, im not even sure I knew what i was doing with it. Ill try tommorrow

Shadius 03-16-2005 02:10 PM

Adam double-tracks to get a fuller and more powerful sound, but he dosn't add much stuff over the top that isn't the same riff. He likes to be able to play the vast majority of his stuff live (by himself).

That's basically what I meant. If you have any arguments, don't talk to me, I'm just the messenger :p ...it's what I read in an interview.

Arrakakaka 03-16-2005 03:25 PM

I just promoted the video of Parabol to the most wierd-ass thing I have ever saw.EVER.

God****it, I fvcking love that video.

Best parts: The eye going into the body and the transition from parabol to parabola.

Kage 03-16-2005 03:47 PM
transition from parabol to parabola.
That part just left me speechless. I think my heart stopped momentarily the first time a I saw it.

Shadius 03-16-2005 03:56 PM

I do love that video.

Along with the rest actually... *pets DVD and various d/led videos*
That part just left me speechless. I think my heart stopped momentarily the first time a I saw it.
Haha, same here. But the part where you see the inside of the body with the fuzz affect... It was so trippy, I had a gape like I was extremely high or trippin on acid. "Whoa, duuuude..."

BlindWriting 03-16-2005 04:19 PM

When the three guys are floating in the air and start vomiting the goo, and it forms a circle, Parabola kicked in, and I almost crapped my pants.

Adam Jones is GOD 03-16-2005 04:21 PM

I want my own pet grey guy with the moveable eyes.

But ill keep it away from the ball mass pet next door. Those guys dont get along well

Yea,that was a sweet transition. But the vomiting goo was kind of..uh..strange.Then it transformed, and it was awesome.

I just saw a live bootleg of The Patient. It was one of the best boolegs I have ever seen. One problem = some dumbass standing next to the camra man won't shut the hell up and you can clearly hear him saying:
"LINKIN PARK IS GANNA FUCKIN OWN THESE GUYS"
"NOTICE HOW THE BASSIST HASN'T TURNED AROUND ONCE? TURN AROUND FAG!!"
I'm sorry.. I had to express my anger for this.

I'd throw a boulder at his head and smash him into Justin's amp. Then I would procede to throw him in a freezing lake with a hungry pack of bears chasing him. Then,as he's being torn apart,I would take a zippo to some Linkin Park CD's.
Sorry,had to express that too.

I think I'll listen to the Holy Gift tomorow finally...now that I'm in a big Lateralus mood. Too late to do it tonight, but I'll have it to look forward to tomorow.

Holy Gift is the good on right?

I did it, and I didn't notice anything. What am I suppost to be looking for?

Kage 03-16-2005 10:21 PM

Just the new feel of the album and how the lyrics relate to each other differently, I guess. Supposedly the transitions are pretty smooth between the songs in that order. I'm not exaclty sure, but it's definately subtle differences; nothing that's going to jump out at you.

I thought the Holy Gift was the good one... some of the transitions were really cool, and the Parabola to Schism change will definitely suprise you.
The Lateralus Prophecy wasn't so cool, not really worth the time it took to rearrange the songs and put on crossfade playback in my iTunes preferences.

BlindWriting 03-16-2005 10:23 PM

And remember, Holy Gift is the one that ends with Disposition.
(I posted the info for this stuff a few pages back.)

Dr. Jake Destructo 03-16-2005 10:29 PM

The one problem that I have with The Holy Gift is the fact that it goes Reflection, The Patient, Disposition. I really don't think Reflection and Disposition are meant to be seperated, because they have that wierd whammy drum deal melding into each other.

Darkness 03-16-2005 10:34 PM

Yeah but your forgetting Triad. I hate when people do that... listen to the last few seconds of reflection cranked up really loud, as you can hear the intro to Triad thundering in.

BlindWriting 03-16-2005 10:34 PM

Yeah, that's probably my least favorite part about the Holy Gift. But I've actually come to like the idea of Parabol beginning the album. Still, I've always preferred the original album's tracklisting. Nothing will ever top the menacing opening of The Grudge and the eerie end of Faaip De Oiad.
And by the way, Kombucha, those were tablas that you heard at the end of Disposition and throughout Reflection.
