Explain your logic behind this, please.
If one were to live in the 30's, there wouldn't be any CR to listen to, as it will not have been devoloped yet Unless you grabbed an iPod before you hopped in the time machine of course... |
/listening to Devil's Sidewalk

It was mostly about the line-
"It's better to burn out than to fade away" Ironically Lennon died a year later. |

That is eerily reminicent of the whole Southern Man/Lynyrd Skynyrd thing
One of the guitarists for Skynrd was a huge Neil Young fan. When he died, it is said they buried him in a "Rust Never Sleeps" t-shirt. |
People get angry at he's lyrics sometimes.
Anywasy I'm not sure if I'll be able to get "On the Beach" in wmas up today. I'll try but I have to upload one for Magicbus, one for Iai and one for you. And yours I'll have to rip it on to my computer in WMP. I know thats not alot but I have to look after my brother today. |

I dont think Skynrd was alive for "Rust Never Sleeps". Tonights the Night is such an amazing album though. |

Bring it On Home by Zeppelin.
Lots and lots of blues songs are in A. |
Bring it On Home by Zeppelin.

I'm not exactly sure, I've read about playing harmonica but I don't have my own. I just heard something like that. So I think that might mean that you could have A major and F# minor but don't take my word for it. |
Walrus, its turns out I have heard a song on Greendale.
It's the last one, "Be the Rain". Anysways I lisened to it all, what a great album, I think I'm going to buy the Greendale with the extra DVD thing in it. I've also seen the movie for sale. |
Has anyone else ever heard Yes referred to as the longest running prog band? Wasn't Pink Floyd around before them? Or were they not considered prog until later..?
I know this was a page ago, but Yes and Pink Floyd actually debuted in the same year. Everybody better vote for Gov't Mule in the new Modern Rock poll! |
Ugh, that's right, I forgot it was a "Tonight's the Night" shirt.
Yeah.
I thought it was Harvest, but that's only because of "The Needle and the Damage Done"
Yeah, Danny was still alive during Harvest. I already voted Mule. |
Yeah, Danny was still alive during Harvest.

How was the bootleg song?
|
It's pretty awesome. It's comparable to Mountain Jam in it's greatness, but I'd put Mountain Jam ahead of it because of the bass solo.
|
Still the bass is pretty awesome.
I might post Spanish Jam and Dark Star if YSI will stop being gay. |
Goodfellas...great movie, makes me want to become a gangster. I currently work for a small Italian food & imports store, I'm 100% Irish, I should ask one of the mobsters if I could work at his house and fulfill my life of crime.
Just don't steal from them or they'll put a horse head in your bed. I remember one time I went to at an Italian food store and I took a peice of candy from the counter and then the next morning I woke up with a horse head in my bed. I had to wash those sheets you know! Does anyone have a (correct) tab for "Friend of the Devil"? |
www.rukind.com
Try there |
Rukind has a lot of good tabs. I was just listening to the Soundtrack to The Song Remains the Same, No Quarter is an absolutely fabulous song. I love that album/movie.
|
No Quarter has grown on me so much in the last couple of months, now it's almost my favourite Zep song.
|
I'm guessing this has been asked and argued over many times before, but have you guys heard Tool's cover of No Quarter? If so, which do you think is better. I personally prefer Tool's, but both are quite amazing.
/guesses the majority will choose Zep's version |
No Quarter is proably also my favurite Zeppelin song.
