I hate college football, but ouch.

billiejoe84 11-05-2005 10:21 PM
Wow, USC is killing Stanford. 37-0
Beg pardon?

Mute Print 11-05-2005 10:22 PM

The University of Southern California is beating Stanford 37-0 in (American) football.

MattSharpIsCool 11-05-2005 10:22 PM

USC over Stanford....is that really a surprise?
Seth! Dude!

How's stuff? Haven't seen you in ages.

Also, yes. Is Vince actually a Mexican? His name is very Italian so I have my doubts.
I havent been here in almost 2 months, jeez.

Stuff has been ok....I dont have internet where I'm living, and its down at my parents house....so that contributes to my absence.

DJ Ducksauce 11-05-2005 10:28 PM

I don't watch it much either, but my brother had put it on. They were up 21-0 in the first quarter. Wait, Stanford just scored. 37-6, maybe 7 if the get the extra point.

You still have mobs of women trying to get in your pants?
You still have mobs of women trying to get in your pants?
Did I ever have that? I must have missed somthing, shame... :-/
Did I ever have that? I must have missed somthing, shame... :-/
That's my clever way of asking "Do you have a girl friend?"

billiejoe84 11-05-2005 10:50 PM
I havent been here in almost 2 months, jeez.
Despite this, you still managed to be nominated for PPOTM this month....

Well done. Clearly Chris' love for you is unending.

MattSharpIsCool 11-05-2005 10:51 PM

I dont know how things work in Israel, but here in America, that made no sense.....anyways, yes I do have a girlfriend.

billiejoe84 11-05-2005 11:00 PM

Israel?

MattSharpIsCool 11-05-2005 11:04 PM

Jon will understand it.

billiejoe84 11-05-2005 11:12 PM

Fair enough.

Right, it is (terrifyingly) 5.11am now. Most of the UK regs will be up in about 2 hours.

Thus making me the most hXc member of the UK crew here, but also very sleepy and ready for bed.

Thus, I'm gonna put some lesbian pr0n on, and then sleep. Night guys.

Seth, come on more often. I like having you around.

Puma 11-05-2005 11:16 PM

I have one thing and one thing only to say.

Eff the White Sox.

Mute Print 11-05-2005 11:17 PM

Been having fun dealing with the White Sox fans I take it?

:p

MattSharpIsCool 11-05-2005 11:19 PM

James: Will do bud, catch you later.

Kevin: :).....almost 100 years for your team, ouch.

Puma 11-05-2005 11:28 PM
Been having fun dealing with the White Sox fans I take it?

:p
Ah they piss me off.
Kevin: :) .....almost 100 years for your team, ouch.
It's rough. Still, something about the atmosphere at Cubs games will just always be so much better then at Sox games no matter how many championships the Sox win. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

MattSharpIsCool 11-05-2005 11:31 PM

Because the Cubbies are "loveable losers" whatever the crap that means.....they're still losers. Living so far from Chicago, I am able to have some love for the Cubs, I kinda like them.

Mute Print 11-05-2005 11:32 PM

If there's a such thing as a "second-favorite team", then mine is the Cubs, and has been for as long as I can remember.

Puma 11-05-2005 11:40 PM

Eh, even though they're losers more often than not, people still love them. Where as the White Sox can end an 88 year drought and be forgotten the next day. Congratulations to them though, Guillen is a hellova manager.
If there's a such thing as a "second-favorite team", then mine is the Cubs, and has been for as long as I can remember.
:h5:

Right on brotha.

And now, I'm very, very, very, very tired, so I'm going to sleep. Lata everyone.

BridgeToSolace 11-05-2005 11:43 PM

Oh, man. I don't understand sports.

I do remember that Seth plays hockey, though. Crazy canadian wanna-be.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-06-2005 04:01 AM

The Cubs sound like Newcastle.

Last night was quite good, the first band was my mates band they were good, kind indiy-ish/alternative then a punk band came on, half the people went outside coz they didn't like them, but i thought they were ace, they played Rancid, Ramones, SLF, The Clash, Sham 69 etc then a heavy, screaming band came on and eceryone loved them, they were ok.

I have a splitting headache now though...

TakeWarning 11-06-2005 05:10 AM

SLF are so under-rated.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-06-2005 05:13 AM

Yeah, they palyed Suspect Device and there was like 5 people into it...

And then a ****ty metal band came on and everyone went crazy...

:-/

Kif 11-06-2005 06:29 AM

After a crappy day yesterday, some half-decent news. The Junior Varsity are playing with TAI... and P!ATD on their UK tour. I gotta save up for merch at that gig.

TakeWarning 11-06-2005 06:53 AM

Suspect Device is awesome. Alternative Ulster is one of the best songs I've ever heard though.

chumpradio 11-06-2005 07:56 AM

The gig last night was amazing.
Millencolin were so good, the pit was amazing. Flogging Molly were obviously amazing, and everyone was singing along and just having fun.
Randy were okay, but a bit cheesy at times in their songs; "This song is about cheating, it's called cheater!".
And The Unseen were great, I'd only heard a few songs before last night, but I want to get more now.

That will be an amazing show..

Kif 11-06-2005 08:12 AM

Haha, My Panic! At The Disco review has been in the charts on Sputnik for so long, people think I'm using a script to keep it up there

Nightvision 11-06-2005 08:17 AM

:D - Pop-Punk buying frenzy today...

I bought 2x tickets for The Starting Line/MxPx at Norwich, (I'm sure I'll find someone to go with! :p) and I bought a limited edition Panic! At The Disco shirt... (although it's not gonna arrive before December at least. :()

onto ebay now!

DepthsOfDreams555 11-06-2005 08:21 AM

I wish I had money to buy stuff I got no cash....

Nightvision 11-06-2005 08:22 AM

haha, I got £1300 this month (although I have to try and save some, as I'm moving out next month and have no furniture!)

Kif 11-06-2005 08:23 AM

Me neither, and I'm going to a gig tomorrow. It's the first time I'll have gone to a gig without buying merch I think, which is a shame because I'd have quite liked a Reggie shirt.

Ganondorf 11-06-2005 08:25 AM

Did everyone already do the whole 'crazy man' thing?

Kif 11-06-2005 08:30 AM

I didn't, but then again I only found out about it yesterday. I will when I get the chance.

Puma 11-06-2005 09:01 AM

Crazy man thing? Que?

CrimbleVan 11-06-2005 09:26 AM

hey there party people

billiejoe84 11-06-2005 09:26 AM
The Cubs sound like Newcastle.
But he said that they lose all the time, and people still love them. There's something of a discrepancy in your comparison there.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-06-2005 10:10 AM

No, your a Mackem so you don't like them...

We're doing week now, remember our win agianst you ? :p

billiejoe84 11-06-2005 10:18 AM

No, you're a Mag, so you like them. Other people don't. Just because the media like to lick Alan Shearer's arse doesn't mean you're everyone's favourite team.

I do remember your win against us. It was an outstanding game of football played between two sides giving it their all, which was nice, and a fact happily overlooked by many smug Geordies.
