I love the piano solo in the bridge of this song.

It was written in memory of Layne Staley (and Kurt Cobain... erf). I never got into grunge, and I never liked a single Nirvana song, but if we're going to talk about piano... well... this is a decent one. You can hear the references in the lyrics.

EDIT: I'm talking about the bridge, remember.
1. I'm glad someone downloaded them.

2. I normally download the files you YSI, but not so much of the nu-metal :)
1. Aww come on, man. I'm always on the lookout for new music to listen to. That's why I'm so disappointed I only started doing Forced Listenings... there have been so many bands I hadn't heard of (or hadn't been forced to listen to) before the dawn of people using YSI. I always download what people upload, it's just that sometimes I don't like what's offered.

2. Well, that's what I was saying in my last sentence. There are maybe three people tops in this thread who like nu metal. It's all good, though. You guys are usually respectful of what everyone listens to, so that's why this is a more "comfortable" place to post.

Six Foot Revolver 03-31-2005 06:51 PM

I have uploaded two songs for all you lovely people :). These are both from bands I am really into at the moment. One is nine inch nails and the other is The Wildhearts. I don't actually think these are gunna work either :(.

I thought people stopped listening to Mudvayne once they hit the age of 15.

Sorry man, I had to sneak in a jab somewhere.

Bartender 03-31-2005 07:36 PM

I've never heard of a Smacky the Frog.

munky_magik 03-31-2005 07:55 PM

Is that a good or a bad thing?

Bartender 03-31-2005 08:08 PM

I'm not sure. If there is indeed no Smacky, then Hedberg was lying..but it sounded like a good routine anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter.

Well my only real experience with him is reading through what Antihero and (to a lesser extent) zepfan typed out a few pages back, and he said Smacky. Regardless, I've not heard of a Smokey the Frog in England either :)

I can't help either Madey, sorry.

I was just trying to figure out what you were talking about.
I had only breifly scanned over what AH typed up so I didn't know where the frog came from.
I was trying to figureout if you had gone loco or not.

Bartender 03-31-2005 08:33 PM

Nice avatar/user title too, though.
