o2 ftw.

Today is going to be spent filling out my UCAS application.

So far, Manchester Met- 3d design, and Leeds Met - Design (which is 3d) are my two chioces, need to think of more.

The 3d course at MMU is brilliant, Leeds met, i havnt seen, presume itll be a good one though.

Mexican Bandito 02-28-2007 07:03 AM

/sniffle ({)({)

(",) nevermind.

 first time in a fortnight! wow lucky bugga.
I keep forgetting to tell work that I need those days off in April =/ I'll do it tomorrow /makes a note

It's too windy out today. I look a right wally walking along with my hair flying all over the place, it keeps whipping me in the eye!

Is your dog feeling any better these days?

edit: BUTLER: leeds met is in association with Bradford College, therefore it must be great

Untitled 02-28-2007 07:07 AM

But Zo...

Manchester > Leeds as a city IMO.

Patrick O))) 02-28-2007 07:10 AM

I need to too :upset: I think I've got the friday off, but Im not sure. I'm going to wait till friday before I ask though, I've just been off a week :P

Not really :( she hasn't a thought in her head, bless her. We got to the top of the snicket at the end of my road before we ran out of time to get to uni, and I had to take her back. She meanders around really aimlessly, and it's sad watching her walk because her back leg joints aren't very good any more, or she hasn't the control over them she used to have, so occaisionally she drags her feet and doesn't quite make a little jump.

Watching her sit down is bad too; she gets so far then just give up and goes 'phooowmph'. She's almost deaf and has really bad cataracts

*sniff*

She's had a good innings though

It's really windy here too >=[ but my hair's behaving itself ... o.O It's up to something...

BUTLER: No it isn't =]

Haven't you seen the vast shopping centres of Leeds? VAST!?

Mexican Bandito 02-28-2007 07:10 AM

Butler: well up yours >: [

/has been to neither

P, you could make her one of those wheelie carts :D that clips onto her back legs so she can wheel along using her front ones. Yeah she's had a great life I'm sure. You guys take great care of her ^_^ aw I want to hug her...

Patrick O))) 02-28-2007 07:17 AM

She'd completely cover you in hair! :p

=O /equips with Ben Hur spikes on the wheel hub

we could saddle up Abbey and she could pull her round ^-^ grow up to be a big strong miniature schnauzer!

:) yeah. She's completely oblivious though. So as sad as it is, it's not really tragic at all. It'd be difficult if she was in pain.

Yes, yes i have. And Manchester shopping is much better and a lot bigger :thumb:

Mexican Bandito 02-28-2007 07:21 AM

rofl and i'd sneeze loads :(
I'm sure I've got a little alergy to cats and dogs :(

That'd be a site for sure! You could set up races!

Well oh, I better get up to class and eat my lunch :tummyrumble:
Have a good shift, talk to you later

Patrick O))) 02-28-2007 07:24 AM

You'll have to come visit loads >_> get non-allergic :)

Aye, I got to go back to uni now too :)

Have a good day

Nah, Manchester's too sprawling for me :( Leeds is cool, but even so I wouldn't want to live in it. Somewhere between's cool. There's some stuff Leeds is missing, but in manchester there's miles between them

Untitled 02-28-2007 07:38 AM

To sprawling? You mean spread out? I always thought mancland was pretty compact.

Untitled 02-28-2007 07:55 AM

How the hell do i start off a personal statement without it sounding clichéd and crap.

Mexican Bandito 02-28-2007 08:09 AM

"yo, I'm Butty and I kick ass"

Untitled 02-28-2007 08:17 AM

That would work,

ChodaBoy 02-28-2007 08:35 AM

Just write 'Chuck Norris' on the first line, and nothing else. They will be too scared to reject it

Don't quote Chuck Norris jokes. It has a side effect of me murdering you in the face.

On a side note, Amsterdam after this uni year might be on baby!

Grohlthegreat 02-28-2007 12:08 PM

How do you murder someone in their face?

ChodaBoy 02-28-2007 12:24 PM

By punching them with an axe

2muchket! 02-28-2007 01:27 PM

Jev 03-01-2007 09:59 AM

I didn't think it'd come up this quick.

Refl 03-01-2007 10:29 AM

Try not to come back as a Commie.

Dead Star 03-01-2007 02:03 PM

So I bought FFXII today.

No random battls :o

Patrick O))) 03-01-2007 08:27 PM

^^^ wasn't that the whole point of FF?

Butler: some bits are, but I find that if I want to do owt in manc I have to set aside most of a day :( whereas, I could do it in leeds in an hour or so if I really wanted. In my experience at least

Not sure how you want to start it, but you want to sneak in the phrase "I am a hard working student, though I find it difficult to call it art 'work' due to the sheer pleasure I get out of it" or something. I did, and somehow I got in to leeds uni ^-^

I want to go to Russia :( I want a full report when you get back

OSHI- 10 days till my band's gig

FOD

There are random battles, just you can see the enemies before they attack
I want to go to Russia I want a full report when you get back
I will write one specifically for you and buy you some £1.50 vodka.

Untitled 03-02-2007 02:27 PM

OMG i found halls of residence i intend to move into :)

You have to put a £250 deposit down, and if you decide to not move it, then i get £200 back, which is good, because im gonna apply on the hoping i get a place at MMU, i should do i think, my tutor said i should be ok.

Brew 03-02-2007 05:30 PM

Butler - that sounds like the Halls me and mein wench will be moving into when we start Uni in September..just in Plymouth rather than Manc.

BBC sport on the BBC's website does crack me up:
1529: A broken linesman's flag brings the fourth official on with a spare at the Emirates. That's the sort of action they must be gagging for at St James' Park.

1527: The answer to the question 'What's going on at Newcastle v Middlesbrough?' is 'Nothing!'. Well, not exactly nothing as they haven't given up playing and all gone home, but it is nothing of note.

Kif 03-03-2007 10:31 AM

So I went to see my friend's band play at Rock City last night. They were in the basement stage and were headlining. Well, the support bands sucked hard. The first band were kind of a Maple State/Motion City Soundtrack rip-off, and weren't good at it. Their guitarist was awesome though, but the only time I smiled during their set was when he climbed on the monitor and it fell over, so he fell off the stage.

The second band were trying to be The Fall Of Troy, except they had a girl singer and synth player, and they made my ears bleed. I shall never forgive them, and my deepest sympathies go out to my friend's band who have played over 50% of their gigs with them apparently.

So then my friend's band came on (I won't name names), and I just realized something; I really don't like them. I had their single and it is insanely catchy and fun, but all of their songs sounded the same, and I got really bored. Plus there were these cockwhores behind me who wouldn't stop taking pictures of themselves for 30 minutes. I'm not kidding, I would've held up a sign saying "Feed these girls penis" if I had one.

In conclusion, I realized I only like this band a lot because they are my friends. If I hadn't known who was in it, I would have never listened to them at all, which is pretty much how it goes for all of my friend's bands.

Jev 03-03-2007 10:50 AM

Haha I went to a school gig weds my gf was playing at.
The first band came on and played terribly. The drummer kept stopping with the guitarist and the bassist couldn't sing in tune or play and sing at the same time.
Then my gf did a solo set which was alright although some shit in the crowd was speaking so loud you could hear him over her.
Then the first band came back on again and played the same song  just distorted this time.
Then my gf had to come back on to fill space and the same thing happened. Then the second support came on which wasn't too bad, just the guitarists seemed a little nervous and kept screwing up.
Then my gf's band came on (she was on a lot that night) and they were pretty cool although their sound was kinda messed up and not really organised.

I just wished I'd gotten a drummer so I could've played, my band usually own these things even if we practice 3 days before it.

2muchket! 03-03-2007 02:46 PM

I went to a gig t'other night my mates band were playing plus 2 other bands. The two other bands pulled out so they had like a 45 minute set. They only played 1 of their own songs and the rest were covers but it was all good in the end. All 4 of 'em were good musicians and the guitarist is one of the best I've seen live.

Patrick O))) 03-03-2007 02:50 PM
