Jev 01-12-2009 01:29 PM
****ed by a horse big deal. Try the video of the two Ukrainian dudes who filmed themselves picking up a hitch-hiker and then killing him with a screwdriver, puncturing his stomach, and then going through his eye, swirling around in his brain a little before finally killing him. THATS BAD.
Yeah, I've seen that one. It made me feel bad.

the2stranger 01-12-2009 01:32 PM

Guys, how about a different topic? :(

I just got my first car an hour ago.

Meatplow 01-12-2009 01:32 PM

why anyone would want to watch these videos is beyond me

Jev 01-12-2009 01:33 PM

Sweet, I haven't started lessons yet :(

Should do in the next couple of weeks.

nice. make you drive really fast and do not yield to other traffic. My history prof turns out to be a Clash fan. She had it playing as we were arriving in the the classroom.

the2stranger 01-12-2009 01:34 PM

Yeah, starting with lessons is never a bad idea.
It only gets more and more expensive, so that's a good reason to start now.

How old are you?
And when are you allowed to drive?

I need to buy a CD player, or put some music on tape.
But tbh I don't remember how to put stuff on tape, not do I have any tapes left.

masscows 01-12-2009 01:35 PM

arrrghghgh im out of runm now and my sister isnt home argghh

get a tape converter that plugs in the headphone jack. you can either use a portable cd player or an mp3 player

Im 19 and you can learn to drive at 17 here, so I'm a little late.

And you know you can buy these things that are like CD players with a pretend tape on the end, so you can effectively play CDs through the tape player.

Thanks for the info. :)

That's also possible.
But I'll first see if I can find some tapes, and if not I'll buy a cheap CD player.
The speakers in my car aren't all that great, so no need for an expensive CD player anyway.

And here you're allowed to drive at 18.
I'm 22 though.
But still the first of all my friends to have a car of his own. :D

Jev 01-12-2009 01:50 PM

haha really? Are they all just lazy or is it ridiculously expensive to own a car there too?

gmoneyguy 01-12-2009 01:53 PM

I've had my own car since i was 16

the2stranger 01-12-2009 01:56 PM

:(
I see. Even if I manage to pass my test before Uni, I won't be able to afford a car until I get a proper job, which is about 5 years away :(

the2stranger 01-12-2009 02:01 PM

I've had the luck I could borrow my dad's or sister's car at times.
But now I can do whatever the heck I want, cause I have a car of my own.
:D

Jev 01-12-2009 02:04 PM

Wow, my dad would never let me near his car haha.

the2stranger 01-12-2009 02:42 PM

I was afraidof the same thing, but he was really nice and willing to let me have it at times.
Awesomeness.

Deth 01-12-2009 03:28 PM

I skipped Calc III today because my professor is the worst lecturer of all time so I figured I could use the time more productively.

the2stranger 01-12-2009 03:32 PM

I'll now use my time productive to go to bed and read some, before having to wake up too early tomorrow.

Night folks.
"Rock fans' guilt" is that they know their music is dumber than jazz or classical, so they have to say they listen to that stuff so other people will believe that they can speak intelligently about music!
That is so true of a lot of R&Mers.

TimJim 01-12-2009 09:43 PM

im getting some good music, you?

I like being called a emo fag who knows nothing about metal by a 29 year old muscley texan because I said I didn't like Neuraxis' new album on myspace's forums.
