Does anyone object to me doing a Crazy Man featured artist?

Mute Print 11-05-2005 05:21 PM

I've never heard of them, so it's okay by me...

cbmartinez 11-05-2005 05:24 PM

Everyone knew every word to all the Underoath songs. It was so sad. They started all these lame pits during the "heavy" parts and there was so much pushing, I was suffocating. They all acted like rock stars too.

Vince, do you have a description written up for this week's "Expanding Your Tastes"...?

Hey guys.

I posted this in The Pit, but it hasn't gotten much response.

My friends and I have been trying to figure out this puzzle for a day. We haven't gotten it yet.

The rules are, you can't cross the same line twice, and you have to go through each line/section once.

Starting Puzzle:http://tinypic.com/fcr3wp.jpg

What an attempt should look like(the thin red circles show each line, and the thick red circle is the one I missed): http://tinypic.com/fcr4f4.jpg

No breaks in the lines, it has to be continous.

Mute Print 11-05-2005 08:06 PM

I've seen that before. I can't remember how it's supposed to be done though.

DJ Ducksauce 11-05-2005 08:12 PM

Yeah, I spent a few hours working on that.

In my junior high gifted and talented class we used to always try to do it. No one could ever do it. There was this girl who spent hours trying to. It's impossible.

Ah the useful things that were taught in the "gifted" classes. I'm so glad that I was never identified as being gifted (despite my 90% average):thumb:

Yeah, a teacher told a girl that if she could do it, she could get a 100 on her test. She spent hours on it. She got quite a few of us trying to do it too. We couldn't stop trying. It got pretty aggravating.

Grades don't reflect how gifted you are. School is easy as long as you try, even if you're kind of stupid.

Even a genius can fail. I know some REALLY smart kids who don't do well just because they're lazy.

Kinda like me? I'm fairly smart, and if I actually gave a **** about school I could probably get high 90's..Somedays I feel really dissapointed in myself because of this..

Excursions 11-05-2005 09:39 PM

I heard Nile on the radio quite a while ago and quite liked it. Now is as good a chance as ever to have another listen I suppose.

Points to anyone who guesses what band released the ep in my avatar.

I was supposed to be in a couple advanced courses this year.

But I told my teachers to put me in standard classes instead. I don't want to do the work of an honors course.

I'm 93 in World History, a 96 in biology, and a high A in english. I suck at math and spanish, so I'm getting mid/low Bs.

I don't really put that much effort into it. I do homework after midnight, I generally get about 5 hours of sleep each night. I'll study the night before a test for maybe a half an hour. I pay attention in class because there's nothing better to do. Biology and World History are interesting, in my opinion, so I don't have trouble at least being attentive.

Do I care about school, though? I 'spose. My parents would cut my penis off if I didn't at least do well, and getting into a decent college will get me into a better/higher paying line of work than just getting a GED or something. It's a shame when I see the really smart kids just drop out or goof off all day and get ****ty grades.

And then there's me, who does 2 hours of homework a week and has all high As except in math where it's low.

Actually I have over 100% in 1/2 my classes. And this is uni.

Understanding In a Crash 11-05-2005 09:53 PM

I just saw, Saw 2... thought it wasn't as good as hyped up about.

Alot of things seemed overdone to try and portray the old directors vision in the original. The plot was pretty good though...

I've read the plots of both movies. Really dark ****.

"If you don't stab your eyes out, you're going to die."

"The key that will save your life is in another man's stomach. Here's a knife, btw."

Yeah, what a choice, on the one hand the guy offers me a guaranteed death, and on the other he offers me the chance to kill a man without penalties. Both are so tantalizing :(

In other news Im going to bed now I think.

Brilliantly, my housemate planned a house part tonight, but kinda forgot to invite more than a few people. Thus, I now have an empty house with nothing but a keg in it.

This can only be bad news.... :chug:

Well its my first ever job, so ya, I'm liking it....and I figured it was you, I could tell from your user title, you crazy mexican.

I just watched "The House of D"....David Duchovny directed it, and Robin Williams is in it.....every single person here should see that movie, holy crap it was good.

You should come on during the day. My posts at about 4pm (GMT, dunno what that relates to for you) are generally filled with grogginess having just got up. Vince gets quite a lot of it, as do the UK guys like Kif, Butler, Kif and Chris.

One day, I will maybe not be grumpy when I've just woken up.

Tonight at work was really crappy. However, I have been offered a gig in 2 weeks (and this is after the guy heard my demo, unusually), although whether we'll be able to make a 20 minute set when all of us have the time restrictions we do is another matter.

Also, as aforementioned, I have a half-full keg to do with as I please.

If anyone here is not worried by this statement, you don't know me well enough.

How's stuff? Haven't seen you in ages.

Also, yes. Is Vince actually a Mexican? His name is very Italian so I have my doubts.
