incorrect
it was stolen from Conrad Schnitzler who played violin on Tangerine Dream's debut before leaving to work with Klaus Schulze who played drums for Ash Ra Tempel's debut and Tangerine Dream's debut as a member of the Cosmic Couriers collective who performed with famous mystics such as Walter Wegmuller before starting a solo career and going on to produce such classics as Jyl's Jyl.
well, if you want to get specific |

This. Guess I'll check out the new Leviathan. Was never into their other stuff. |
I don't get how ppl can take Jeromes Dream and Burzum seriously but not take Silencer seriously.
Also, the guy from Silencer is completely out of his mind, maybe that'll help you grasp the whimpering shit lol. |
Burzum's early vocals are pretty different from Silencer, imo.
Also, just stumbled upon this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwTQD0flGdg Very atmospheric stuff. I like this a lot. |
i just lump it in that pidgeon getting fucked category
edit: didn't like that foundre at first but it progresses really well |
Yeah, I guess you need to get into the track a bit.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Depths-of-Darkness/dp/B0063S8HKS/ref=mb_oe_o New Burzum samples from the re-recordings sound okay. |
i mean nobody calls him that guy from tangerine dream he's famous in his own way , selling CDRs of his space synth shit from his house as the other Tangerine Dream guys are touring the whole world
lol ilu |
Yeah the vocals aren't totally shitty like they have been on the last two albums. But sometimes that guitar just sounds too clean, sometimes it sounds evil. It's not bad though, I expected a lot worse. Still prefer the originals obviously.

How are the vocals on Belus totally shitty? |
they are
|
Awesome explanation.
They're just raspy black metal vocals, I think the rawness adds to the sinister atmosphere of the album, honestly. |
The vocals on Belus aren't bad in any way, they're just not as "intense" as the vocals on the early releases.
|
If those vocals were in any other quality black metal band that wasn't already established these kiddies would like them, totally calling it.
|
LOL no
|
You like Vincent Black Shadow and you're telling me Varg's whisper-rasps are bad.
 |
VBS rule mang
|
They'd be good if the vocals weren't fucking terrible.
|
Ok the vocals on Belus aren't totally shitty but they are way off compared to the early shit. I don't really like his vocals on Fallen much at all.
|
The vocals on Fallen are really bad, yeah.
|
I sort of liked Fallen the first time I heard it, but got bored with it before the album was over. Consecutive listens have reduced what little enjoyment I got out of a few of the tracks to nothingness. Belus was a lot better, but still not my kind of thing, really.
So what do you guys think of the new Moonsorrow? After two listens, I think it's fucking great. It's a long album, but there wasn't really any point where I got bored or distracted and the whole album has a really great atmosphere, especially with the intermezzos, which some of you will probably find cheesy, I guess. It's certainly not Verisäkeet, but it's definitely high on my 2011 list. |
disliked Fallen, especially that ethnic percussion track at the end. it sounded like a weak Zoviet France
new Blut Aus Nord is kinda dull |
