well, just rearranged my mounting system, i now have 3 ctmbals and 2 toms mounted off a single stand. the funny thing is, theres so much weight on it that it counterweights itself...

They do 80GB ones now, but I think that's the largest any portable player is.

I'm gonna be gone all weekend. It's my friend's 18th, and even though he doesn't hang out with us at all any more (he's hung out with us twice since July 1st, not including the two camping trips, when he was in the tent with his girlfriend 80% of the time) because he's with his girlfriend 100% of his spare time, he wants people to get drunk with, because she doesn't drink.

Plus, he needs us to go with him because his parents are paying for 2 nights at a hotel for all of us, but we're going to a cheaper hotel the first night and his girlfriend's house the second night, and all that money's going to pay for booze. Then of course everyone will pitch in a bunch more money.

And I can't drink, because I don't trust my gums with alcohol right now. So I'll be the caretaker, of course. :(

I've filled my 30 up, but mostly with video.

The music annoys me sometimes because when you add a mix album or something, it lists every single artist in the artist section. Like, 90% of the time I find what I want to listen to by the artist name, and then I've got to scroll through 50,000 artists to get to the one I want.

My 6 gig zen works fine for me. I can't think of a time when I'd ever need 6 gigs of music at one time (never mind the fact that the battery wouldn't even last that long). And it's no big deal for me to add/remove a couple songs while I'm charging it, take 5 minutes tops.

Yeah I always go to Artist to listen to tracks.

If you've got thousands of artists what you can do is click right on the pad thing, see the letters to the right? Scroll down the to artist that begins on that letter. I didn't see this function at first, I don't use it because its quicker for me to scroll quickly because I don't have alot of artists, round about 70 at the moment.

Well if you want, there are some expensive ones for sound cancellation ones for in ear phones.

If you have a compilation album full of a lot of different artists. Instead of putting them under Various Artists, like it should and sometimes does, it will list each artist separately.

I figured out how to do it by alphabet a few days after I got it, but then I couldn't remember so I just got used to scrolling. Now if I can't break the habit.




Get in-ears. Creative Zen Aurvanas are excellent. They're like wearing ear plugs so you knock out a lot of noise, and the sound quality is better than isophones would be.

Assuming you have quality files on your mp3 player.
