portal would sound better if they dropped the gimmicks

i can't get into them in a normal death metal type of way, like for the riffs or wars. but when i listen to them more just for their general atmosphere i can appreciate it alot more.

i just looked up the lineup for scion and to be honest it's not that fantastic. would be cool to see morbid angel and obituary, but other than them the only bands i like are bastard noise and fuck the facts
