well berk11, i just recently researched this topic myself, and i have figured out that a 5 piece kit with 2 floor toms, keller shells, wood hoops on the bass drum, trick strainer, and 2.3mm flanged, nice lugs, tension rods, wrap cut to fit each drum, holes drilled for various things, moutning system, and concrete for,

i.e.: everything you need to build a kit, would cost $2,111. but that is quite good, since these are the shells dw used when they used to have better sounding drums, and are quite amazing.
