that tour is coming to des moines
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS |
The main point is they're very boring "technical" or "progressive" whatever bands that can't write songs that flow to save their lives.
The majority of their riffs are extremely cheesy and recycled and thrown together in a haphazard manner. I don't mind ABACABB because they're not trying way too hard, they're just writing what they think sounds heavy and playing death metal for fun, which is how it's supposed to be. |
its not as easy as you think to write transitions when they're not breakdowns
here comes the heavy part BRO |
What are you talking about?
I listen to plenty of **** without breakdowns that has great transitions. AND I'm talking about BOO and After The Burial dumbass. They use breakdowns when they can't think of transitions like a crutch. |
you obviously haven't listened to new BOO, the songs are pretty damn short, and there's only a couple breakdowns on the whole album
and I'd rather listen to breakdowns with actual rhythms in them aside from the poopty generic breakdowns in bands like ABACABB LOOK AT US WE CAN DO OPEN NOTE CHUGS IN 4/4 THIS IS HEAVY **** |
You're into retarded flashy stuff, that's cool. I'm not even into ABACABB I just don't mind them when my friends listen to them.
If you didn't get the memo, I mostly listen to stuff like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mxyANPy19g Lyrical content is mad important to me bru. |
yeah man, having rhythms is flashy, you simpleton
drums sound so shitty in that song, dude needs to tune his snare oh wait the whole song is shitty lolnvm |
Also, if I want breakdowns with cool rhythms I'll listen to TTEOTD's half of The Annihilation Of Expectation or like Animoisty of BTBAM, lol.
A lot of bands did the whole cool rhythm thing like half a decade before these bands you're felating, and didn't over do it... Misery Signals comes to mind, The Number 12 comes to mind, The Dillinger Esacape Plan, Botch, Coalesce, Norma Jean, Dead Man In Reno, The Acacia Strain, etc. etc. edit: Also, acting like Circle Takes The Square's drummer sucks =. Dude's snare sounds fine, it's just not triggered noob. |
what bands am I fellating exactly
yeah only person who fellates bands is you
TTEOTD's half of The Annihilation Of Expectation or like Animoisty of BTBAM
perfect example, you never stfu about them so yeah |
Missing the point of my argument. And when do I ever go on and on about Animosity or BTBAM? You're just wrong dude, all I'm saying is there's a lot of bands that do that whole math-y breakdown thing a lot better than those poopty Sumerian bands, without sounding like an even worse Meshuggah. Veil Of Maya is the only band like that I really like because they have sweet RIFFS, instead of flashy **** that goes nowhere. |

you and jaundice should really look at this for reference some time |
you never stfu about Animosity and Silent Circus
|
 got me good dude
you are so full of ****, it's incredible Oh Glass Casket and Architects, two more bands with mathy breakdowns that don't suck. |

better than any deathcore tbh |

another great album with cool rhythms, a lot better than BOO. |

you're the one who missed my point completely:
and I'd rather listen to breakdowns with actual rhythms in them aside from the poopty generic breakdowns in bands like ABACABB
I'm js I don't like ****ing simple generic breakdowns but you'd rather listen to ABACABB over BOO or w/e I listen to BOO and ATB because they have catchy hooks and their riffs are fun to play so yeah gg |
