My mic came today, with stand and cable. Shame the bastard stand doesn't work, which means taking plan B: Sellotaping the mic to the stand. I'm not sure this is a good idea since it did cost £95.

If your connected with some men dealing with metals, you can get them to make you one. That's what I did, somewhat less functionality, but works alright. It was for a snare stand though.

I'm going to a garden party later, because this girl I know is having a really childish party for her birthday, but with lots of alcohol as well. Like we will be playing pass the parcel, then doing shots, then eating jelly and cake. I can't wait. :D
