Probably John just because I like his songs the best. My absolute two favorite Beatles songs are probably While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes the Sun, which are George's songs, but John just had so many more great songs than George. Actually, nevermind I pretty much like them all about the same.

drugstore cowboy 08-05-2005 06:37 PM

Stu Sutcliffe! Because he was cool, but couldn't play bass.

If not Stu, then Ringo, for being one of the coolest (looking) drummers ever.

Johnny B. Good 08-05-2005 06:38 PM

its all about george, he was the most talented at his instrument, the only one who could read music out of all of them, first one to grow his hair out really long, had the best solo career, and i think his songs are my favorite songs by the beatles (main reason)

I agree with everything you said, but I picked John as my favorite. There all just so cool and close.

Eric Clapton
Billy Preston
Stu Sutcliffe
Pete Best
Brian Epstein
George Martin
Yoko Ono
Feel free to add to the list

My favorite in bold

PinkFreud 08-05-2005 07:24 PM

i spelled george wrong, but im too cool to edit.

it is indeed a lot of zappa. i feel overwhelmed but its so cool.

classicrockman 08-05-2005 07:40 PM

Did you guys hear that Frank Zappa's sons (Dweezil and Ahmet) are going to have a tour? It's gonna be called Zappas play Zapppa.

Ahmet Zappa will sing and Dweezil is gonna play guitar.

I hear that Steve Vai might be at a few of the shows.

I'd do it at the very least to see what the general Zappa fan base is like

Glitterati 08-05-2005 07:59 PM

Anyone listen to T. Rex?

Bang A Gong is such a sweet song.

I really don't see how being able to read music makes him better than Paul, and eventhough he was the best with his intrument, he still wasn't all that good. But the others I agree with.

pigonthewing82 08-05-2005 08:09 PM

I love John's lyrics, but I love Georges instrumentals, so its really hard to compare the two. Right now I would have to say John is my favorite, but the more songs I heard from George, and the more I learn about what he has done in his life, he becomes more my favorite Beatle then John, right now the list looks somthing like this:

1) John
2) George
3) Ringo (not for the Beatles, but for Thomas the freaking Tank Engine)
4) Paul

BludgeonySteve 08-05-2005 08:11 PM

Paul is awesome! wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiings I say!

:( die

Walrus Gumboot 08-05-2005 08:18 PM

I could NEVER.

EVER.

Pick a favorite Beatle. I hate even thinking about it

Woodstock 08-05-2005 08:25 PM

George.

Lunch 08-05-2005 08:25 PM

George is mine too.

Cause he looks like Jesus.

ATM 08-05-2005 08:27 PM

George is mine, as well.

Woodstock 08-05-2005 08:28 PM

All Things Must Pass \m/ is easily the best Beatles solo album.

I think George is bigger then Jesus.

I'd have to agree with that. Plastic Ono Band is pretty fucking sweet too though. ATMP is definitely the best though.

I think George's lyrics are underrated, I think they are better then Pauls.
