I've heard that too, I just hate their newer style, but really like [I]Journey Through The Cold Moors Of Svarttjern[/I] because it's very ambient and atmospheric.

I deleted it tbh since its not particularly stunning either, but it is the next best Carpathian Forest release.

Yeah, Hate Forest is boring. I had 2 albums and I didn't get through either of them.

Yeah, Hate Forest is a snooze fest, plus Roman isn't a very good vocalist. Thurios's backing vocals are great though, but Roman is just bad. He's better on Blood of Kingu, he does this strange low kinda chant thing, and doesn't sing much.

I like them a lot, last 2 albums have ruled. It's like good Hate Forest I guess, and Thurios is a great vocalist.

I've only heard Dying Emotions Domain and it's a good album. Not really that similar to Hate Forest, though.

Newer stuff is a bit rawer I guess, more fast paced, but still has some elements of their old stuff.

Yeah, it seems like any time Thurios takes over the writing process things always turn out better, i.e. Drudkh and Astrofaes.

Heh, I listen to "Furrow of Gods" like every day now, pretty much the best Drudkh song ever. Although Autumn Aurora is my favorite album by them.

False Dawn is amazing, easily the best song on Forgotten Legends, but still, Furrow of Gods has all of those amazing changing sections and that solo!

Shagrath and Nergal seemed very into themselves but I really like Dani's personality.

Hate Forest is actually pretty good. It's repetitive as hell yes, but the style is pretty unique due to the super low sound that is applied to the vocals and instruments.
