Are you serious that you don't know what movie that is from? It is only one of the most quoted movies of the last 3 years.

i guess i should punch myself in the face as well, low sound rules at the internet =P

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 03:54 PM

Lowsound is the victor.

thelowsoundofbass 10-11-2006 03:54 PM

*bows* but that really wasn't what the story was about.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 03:56 PM

Are you going to tell us what movie it was?

Left Shoe 10-11-2006 03:57 PM

Anchorman.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 04:09 PM

I saw Anchorman once about a year ago... I didn't find it very funny.

I've been told by my brother that he didn't find it all that funny the first time, but then saw it again at a later time and thought it was hilarious.

I didn't find that very funny either.

PietroCrespi 10-11-2006 04:18 PM

Me either.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 04:25 PM

I'm sick and it sucks.

My throat is all swollen, I've got a headache that just won't go away, and I'm just feeling like crap in general.

Radiobass81 10-11-2006 04:44 PM

Corey Lidle died, at 34.

I'm pouring my heart out and writing a song for him. I really liked him... :(

PietroCrespi 10-11-2006 04:59 PM

I just read about him dying. My dad's been a diehard Red Sox fan for 53 years, so I can't say that I was a huge Yankees fan.

Radiobass81 10-11-2006 05:02 PM

I like the Phillies, I'm a big Yankees fan, and even if I wasn't, it's still sad.

kilian 10-11-2006 05:03 PM

kilian 10-11-2006 05:10 PM

Tsk.

So empty.. So empty..

Radiobass81 10-11-2006 05:12 PM

Alright, although it's nothing fancy, I think I'm just going to improvise in C for over some random chord changes.

I'll call it "2CL" (copied from 2JN, I know...).

PaulSimonon 10-11-2006 05:20 PM

Heylo guys.

*hopes Jorge is still here*

Efrim 10-11-2006 05:46 PM

Hello.

Akira 10-11-2006 05:48 PM

Any of you guys a fan of Ali G's Borat?

Efrim 10-11-2006 05:51 PM

Da.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 06:00 PM

Thanks for supporting my thread and helping it get back on track. :thumb:

Also, in regards to me being sick, I just looked in the mirror and saw that around my eyes are kind of puffy and red. As of how I'm feeling right now, I'm not going to school tomorrow, but I'll see how I feel tomorrow morning.

Efrim 10-11-2006 06:03 PM

Sure.

Sucks that your sick, I had a cold a couple of weeks back. It's so irritating to have a stuffed up nose.

BenJammin 10-11-2006 06:37 PM

Jesse, baby. I've got some treats for you.

Spaceman Spiff 10-11-2006 06:47 PM

Oh my...

My mind is suddenly overflowing with ideas... I want to make an album. An experimental/noise album... :p

I'm actually serious, so many ideas and that sort album is the only way to express them.

BenJammin 10-11-2006 06:48 PM

Go for it. Writing an album is a fun experience.

Oh, I so want to. I really need some proper materials, though... one being a mic, another being a way to go out and record certain sounds and such...

Any recommendations for stuff like that?

I'm of no use for a mic, since I recorded all of my album straight into my computer.

What sort of sounds are you looking to record?

Thonk 10-11-2006 06:53 PM

What happened to your old account?

Anything from instruments to vocals to my own sound effects and noises that I'd create for use on this album.

TheClap 10-11-2006 06:56 PM
What happened to your old account?
I don't know.

Whenever I try to post it says, "this action cannot be performed."

Hm. If you've got the patience, you could manipulate a lot of bass and vocal sounds with a recording program and make them sound like other things. I know Adobe Audition has a lot of tools that are good for twisting the sound of things.

I have Adobe Audition on my computer... barely know how to use it though. I've done almost no recording ever.

Thonk 10-11-2006 07:00 PM

hmm..

That's weird.

Efrim 10-11-2006 07:00 PM

Thanks for the John, sweet sweet Ben.

Spiff, learn to use feedback to it's full potential.

I've got 2 more live shows for you that I snagged earlier.

Ataxia's Performance 4 (including a 20 minute version of Addition), and a solo John set from January 27, 1997.

The sound quality is a bit rough, but if you're anywhere as big of a fanboy as I think you are, you won't mind. You should have a link in your inbox in approximately 7 minutes.

I haven't listened to the '97 set, so I have no idea how it sounds yet.
