I don't think that song has one, it just ends with Paul screaming "Torture me back at ya lair!"
Oh I was thinking just overall bassline. In that case I like Where eagles dare

Lord Abortion 01-21-2005 04:25 PM

what live album is infinite dreams on?

IAJP 01-21-2005 04:25 PM

The official Iron Maiden website is such a good resource,
you can download like...1 minute excerpts from any song, on any album by Maiden.
so...

I decided I'm gonna go out tommorow and buy powerslave:)

Maiden are really good about keeping their fans in touch. More so than most any other band. They have a good forum too.

It's so true,
More so with DOD, They comercialised a bit,
but they kept the original fans, plus entertained the newer fans.

Maiden are simply my favourite metal band of all time :).

Josh 01-21-2005 05:15 PM

get this week's kerrang magazine if you can. theres 2 or 3 pages on maiden, just random facts. quite entertaining though.

ive never been on the maiden forums.

IAJP 01-21-2005 05:31 PM

I know,:upset:,
I've been scouring that site for months for tour dates in England.
If there are any, I'm setting up camp outside the box office :).

Josh 01-21-2005 05:37 PM

IAJP 01-21-2005 05:45 PM

Amazing,
how much would you say..the average Maiden ticket would cost?

GurS 01-22-2005 05:40 AM

40?

I'm waiting (hoping) for them to say Earl's Court.

London > Everywhere else in England.

Except Donnington.

Maiden to play London Astoria...that would kick anus.

Stevie 01-22-2005 08:09 AM

Since it's an "Early days tour (right?)" does that not mean their set list will be more old inclined?

ForiegnPenguin 01-22-2005 08:12 AM

Are they coming to America anytime soon?

Thunder Fingers 01-22-2005 08:14 AM
Since it's an "Early days tour (right?)" does that not mean their set list will be more old inclined?
who knows.. they might even check in at the Rainbow and play there... ;)

Stevie 01-22-2005 08:15 AM

Hah I'd sure be there (dying because it's so jam packed).

Hell maybie we'll hear Women In Uniform...

Riva 01-22-2005 08:22 AM

Stevie 01-22-2005 08:43 AM

maiden playing newcastle = best for me as its nearest arena.

and last time the ticket cost £25 (i think)

IAJP 01-22-2005 12:49 PM

It'd be good even if they played in Manchester, I'd still travel there to see them.

My sister got that Kerrang, I had a looksee, and the best was the one that said Janick was blinded by some stage lights, fell of the stage and knocked himself out in 2000. Poor guy...

Stevie 01-22-2005 01:20 PM

Is it worth buying the entire edition for?

IAJP 01-22-2005 01:21 PM

I GOT POWERSLAVE!
: partay:

Stevie 01-22-2005 01:26 PM

Yay! What do you guys think of Live at Donnington 92?

IAJP 01-22-2005 01:33 PM

I downloaded a few songs off it.
Meh,
I prefer "A real Live Dead One" and of course Rock In Rio.
It's still pretty solid though.
(wow powerslave is absolutley amazing!!)

OnceTheyWereHeros 01-22-2005 01:41 PM

i have never really got into maiden because i am too young to remember them in their hayday! but all of the songs i have heard are quite cheesy to my ears apart from one which i forget its name lol but i havent heard alot of maiden. can anybody give me a good song to get started on? (apart from number of the beast ;))

P.S i like heavy stuff

IAJP 01-22-2005 01:46 PM

Hey, I'm only 15, so I wasn't born when they were in their heyday.
:)Hmm...good songs:
Phantom Of The Opera, Run To The Hills, Flight Of The Iccarus, The Trooper, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Aces High, Holy smoke.

Ooh, and the wicker man :)
That should do :D

ashman 01-22-2005 02:04 PM
Is it worth buying the entire edition for?
Nah, Kerrang! are doing a lot of single page Maiden stuff lately...

Heavier songs eh? Maybe: Mountsegur, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Somewhere in Time, Wildest Dreams, Killers, Look for the Truth, The Trooper, Where Eagles Dare, Be Quick or Be dead and Fear of the Dark...

I'm 18, the first album I ever listened to was Sevength son of a Sevength son on the day it was realised in 1988, and I've never looked back...except when Bruce left... :upset: <==Despair.

OnceTheyWereHeros 01-22-2005 02:10 PM

Fear of the Dark! Yes i love that song :D Run to the Hills is pretty cool too :thumb:

thanks for your suggestions i will go and have a listen ;)

ashman 01-22-2005 02:18 PM

Another conversion

Has anyone heard the BLAZE (The band) version of SOTC? It's pretty good, I like it. It's got a different feel to it, not as dark; more Guitar soloey

Firecracker 01-22-2005 04:21 PM

Iron Maiden aren't for download this year, they're playing in switzerland over the download weekend. 'Tis a shame.

Firecracker 01-22-2005 04:22 PM
