Reading that list, I was thinkin we dont talk about the Stones enough in here.
Forty Licks is a great compilation, but my fav LP would have to be Sticky Fingers. Wild Horses, Brown Sugar, Cant You Here Me Knockin all great songs :thumb: |
Ladies and Gentlemen, I offer you this:
The Top 500 Rock And Roll Songs This list got me into to Classic Rock today. Since I don't use P2P devices, I'm gradually assembling as much of this as I can through CDs. I've got 229 of them so far and I haven't disliked a single song. For reference, you can make fun of me for using a list, but all of these songs are solid gold and I make sure to listen to whatever else comes with the CDs I buy. For example, Mary Jane's Last Dance (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) and Higher Power (Boston) aren't on the list, but they're pretty awesome too. I think the fact that this thread is so huge is a testament to how great Classic Rock is.
they got no ramones songs :upset: |
they got no ramones songs :upset:
1. The ramones aren't classic rock. They are punk. 2. Even if they were classic rock they would still not be on there because they suck. kthxbye |
ouch!!
|
I don't like the rolling stones all that much.
|

I knew that :( It was the 20th century, times they were 'a changin' Happy? |
Very much so.
|
Morrison did have homosexual relationships, its pretty common.
|
it's common to have homosexual relationships? since when?
|
Since homosexuality has been accepted.
|
it's common to have homosexual relationships? since when?
Begining in the mid 1970s and becoming more accepted every year since. |
just because they're becoming more accepeted doesn't make them common.
|
Uh, it sure does. Acceptance means more people come out of the closet. |
just because they're becoming more accepeted doesn't make them common.
Common enough for it to be expected... Now let's stop spamming my thread. |
just because they're becoming more accepeted doesn't make them common.
I think someone's got a little comming out of the closet to do. ;) |
Besides, like I said, its documented Morrison would **** anything that moves.
|
i'm not surprised considering he was probably on acid evreyday
