Andrew Harris, here's the rules for you to read if you're wanting to join. However, I'm not sure if they're the same or if they have changed.
With the new wake of clans on MX, myself and JMetallica (with help from k'!) came up with idea to create a thrash clan, with sub-clans of your favourite thrash albums. The name of the clan is Titans of Thrash(Insert Acronym of album) e.g Titans of Thrash(RTL). This will allow everyone to have their own individuality and tastes and opinions of their favourite thrash album, whilst still being in a larger group.

Anyone who enjoys thrash as much as the good people as JMetallica and I are welcome to join. Thrash includes, but is not limited to; Exodus, Megadeth, Testament, Metallica, Slayer, Shadows Fall, etc. Even Motorhead fall into this genre (they practically started it). NO FLAMING

As to avoid the massive "fan-boy-dome" that is involved with Metallica, people can select their favourite thrash album of any thrash band, and put the initials of the album in brackets. As myself and JMetallica are lazy arses, we have opted not to create an avatar, but just to adopt the title. KEEP THRASH ALIVE!!

Im in. If thats cool with you all thrashers. haha
ok I'm going to join now that's to megadeth here for being so awesome and joining before me XD

I decided since I've been leaving a few posts here and trying my best to keep the thread from going under, (not to mention to let thrash metal die either), I want to join too.

However I can't find a good album title...

Ok I'm going with "The New Order". It's one of my favorite thrash albums of all time. and yes

I am a Testament fan :D

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 11:12 AM

IMO New Order>The Legacy

RCA 08-14-2004 11:14 AM

The New Order, nice choice :thumb:

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 11:23 AM

didnt Testament dabble in black/death metal?

RCA 08-14-2004 11:29 AM

They tried at their own death metal. It was just heavier than their other stuff, didn't really sound like death metal to me.

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 11:31 AM

cool, i cant really imagine them using blastbeats. But Eric Peterson in corpse paint cracks me up

iliketoplaydrums10111 08-14-2004 11:34 AM
It was emailed to me by a friend. Theres a 1 minute 12 second long clip of it at www.darkangelmusic.com. In the downloads section. Enjoy! :thumb:
That song is really good

Holy crap, I was like

RCA 08-14-2004 11:34 AM

Haha! As much as I like black metal, I wouldn't care for Testament if they switched over to it.

Any idea when the new Kreator album is coming out?

NP: Sodom - Nuclear Winter

EDIT: 4,000 posts for this thread, nice :chug:

Kreator 08-14-2004 11:38 AM

what's the name of the new death angel album? the art of dying?

sensitiveorgan00 08-14-2004 11:39 AM

^ Yes.

And I think teh Kreator album is coming out early next year.

Kreator 08-14-2004 11:41 AM

SPV are planing a worldwide release of the album for January 2005, followed by an extensive world tour, including massive sound and lights + a killer stage design in the style of the new cover artwork, wich will be made by austrian artist Jochim Luetke, check some of his work here: www.luetke.com

cool. i heard the song thicker than blood a few days ago and i really liked it

GraveRobbersINC 08-14-2004 11:43 AM

Mmmmmm I must see Kreator and Megadeth when they tour.

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 11:47 AM

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 11:55 AM

Kreator 08-14-2004 11:58 AM

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 12:01 PM

any Kreator albums to avoid?

Kreator 08-14-2004 12:05 PM

not really to avoid but outcast, renewal, cause for conflict and endorama aren't that good.

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 12:15 PM

extreme agression and coma of souls is on my list, any others?

Kreator 08-14-2004 12:18 PM

dew-scented - impact

RCA 08-14-2004 12:23 PM

Go with Pleasure To Kill too, Disposable Heroes. Violent Revolution was also good

DisposableHeroes 08-14-2004 12:26 PM

i shouldnt think about buying any other albums too soon, i've got about 5 albums i still need to get into. If you get my meaning

FatalEnergy 08-14-2004 03:57 PM

Teribble Certainty by Kreator is a good one, but anyway the new album comes out on Jan. 1st, at least thats what Mille Petrozza said, and I would say Extreme Agressions is their best album

RavenousMetalist87 08-14-2004 04:12 PM
cool, i cant really imagine them using blastbeats. But Eric Peterson in corpse paint cracks me up
haha yeah I was like "o.o;" when i saw the pictures of him and DragonLord.

Their own style of mixing death with thrash wasn't the best combo, but Dog Faced Gods is a such a kickass song!

RavenousMetalist87 08-14-2004 04:30 PM

*bump*

AndrewHarris 08-14-2004 05:50 PM

i dont like death angels version of creeping death, the guitar sounds too choppy

RavenousMetalist87 08-14-2004 05:51 PM
