Yeah similar over here too. Although I'm switching from BCom to BArts/BLaws next session so i'll be fucked in the ass some more. Decided to do my Economics major in an Arts degree so I can do a second Sociology major (instead of Finance because I'm done with banking) and do a Bachelor of Laws along side it.

Yeah it's pretty good. I've been offered some jobs but it means still commuting more than an hour, so I'm applying for some roles locally. There's one I've been told I can basically walk into and it's 1500m from my apartment. It's a $5k pay-cut, but it'd be worth it for the lifestyle I think.

Yeah I was for a while 'cause it meant I'm leaving 7 years of relationships behind. That's the main thing. I'm thinking I'll switch towards social research stuff and do that for the next 4/5 years till I finish off my degree. The role I mentioned is working with the Fellows for my university, so I'd be employed by and study with University of Wollongong. The consult with government departments and big corporates on the uni's behalf, so I'll be doing relationship management as well as analyst shit.
