Brain Toad 05-05-2005 02:12 PM

Hmm. Winamp was being odd. I had about five files that just didn't work, they were randomly corrupted files.

The Clash - Sean Flynn (which I later found out was actually just a wma that didnt get converted)
New York Dolls - Personaility Crisis
Auntie Christ - (The Whole Record Over Again)
Russian Red Army Choir - Sacred War
Ted Dancin' Machine - Roadside

Just randomly corrupted. I deleted them, and I found replacements for all except the last three.

Biscuit_box 05-05-2005 02:18 PM

I was moving some files about and then the ones i moved wouldn't play in Winamp... And a few won't play and just open a webpage that doesn't even open up properly

Jessizzle 05-05-2005 02:19 PM

Iv got all my files in limewire, and it dosnt break down like soulseek!

Brain Toad 05-05-2005 02:21 PM

But all the spyware on Limewire will catch up to you. You will kicking yourself when you are formatting your computer to get rid of the spyware that has overtaken the computer and web for using such a shit program.

Jessizzle 05-05-2005 02:23 PM

Iv got such a good virus protecter, its awesome. iv had lime wire for a year and no virus yet/

Brain Toad 05-05-2005 02:25 PM

Virii =/= spyware

Norton, Macaffe and the gang do nothing for spyware.

guns_of_brixton 05-05-2005 02:40 PM

Do trojans have anything to do with spyware?

Brain Toad 05-05-2005 02:49 PM

Trojans are types of viruses. They act like a Trojan horse like the old legends (greek?). Where it is disguised as a friendly program when it comes in, and secretly reproduces itself and attacks the computer. They are pretty dangerous. I had one a long time ago on my old computer.

SpecialBoy 05-05-2005 03:02 PM

Yeah it's Greek, with the siege of Troy.

Biscuit_box 05-05-2005 03:08 PM

I have a trojan on my pc but i'm too lazy to remove it. Hasn't done much evident damage so far and norton antivirus is so useless it didn't remove it itself!
Catch 22

It is the best book you will ever read.
what's so good about this book?

Brain Toad 05-05-2005 05:11 PM

Cahs by Johnny Cash is amazing. But if you only want fiction, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, 1984 by George Orwell, Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, and Brave New World by A. Huxley are all excellant books. Another good non-fiction is the Communist Manifesto.

sketchyjoe 05-05-2005 05:29 PM
what's so good about this book?
