No, "Wah-Wah", 'tard. Unless, you're being a sarcastic little bastard. |
No, "Wah-Wah", 'tard. Unless, you're being a sarcastic little bastard.
I was being a sarcastic little bastard. :p Help think of Beatles songs that use a wah! |
Side one of the album is fantasticly awesome.
|
Is it just me, or does the song "Mr. Blue Sky" sound like the Paul McCartney part of "A Day in the Life"?
|
When I heard "Mister Blue Sky", I thought it sounded a lot like the Beatles. Not a particular song though.
|
I still haven't heard Mr. Blue Sky.
|
I felt the same way, but I was listening to it again today, and the piano and the occasional panting in the background makes it sound like the Paul McCartney portion of "A Day in the Life".
|
I still haven't heard Mr. Blue Sky.
Me neither. |
Me neither.
I just sent it to Woodstock, I'll do the same if you have AIM. EDIT: And yea Ray, it does kinda sound like that after listening to it again. |
I'm uploading it. You're all listening to it.
|
I'm uploading it. You're all listening to it.
Yea, you named yourself for it so it better be good. |
I'm uploading it. You're all listening to it.
Great. Edit- Have you posted your ELO write-up yet? I'm interested in reading it. |
Yea, you named yourself for it so it better be good.
He named himself after Malcolm Young, so let's not jump to conclusions :p |

I'm still uploading tracks, it's such a pain with a computer as slow as mine.
He named himself after Malcolm Young, so let's not jump to conclusions :p
Says the one who named himself after a Nas song. |

Says the one who named himself after a Nas song.
Album, Nas > Malcolm Young, but I am NOT getting into this one. |
Says the one who named himself after a Nas song.
It was an album. A perfect one, at that. |
Finally.

Hey, what do you all think of the Beach Boys?
My gf kind of likes them, and I think that they're okay (based on their version of "SMiLE"). |

There good, but get kind of old fast. I think I'll try to find that cd. Edit- Mr. Blue Sky is a great song. I can see why Jeff Lynne is considered a creative genius. |

Boom, bitches. |
That was a pretty good song. It was catchy, but it was a little cheesy.
|
Have you noticed how much George Harrison uses a Wah pedal on All Things Must Pass?
That's because it's really Clapton  |
Hey, what do you all think of the Beach Boys?
My gf kind of likes them, and I think that they're okay (based on their version of "SMiLE").
I really like The Beach Boys. A lot of people only talk about Pet Sounds and how wonderful it is, and I'll admit it's great but I really like all of their albums. Brian Wilson presents SMiLE is pretty awesome, although I think the Beach Boys can do a better job together. |
That's because it's really Clapton
Yes, Clapton plays the wah on Wah-Wah, and Clapton also plays on the jam at the end of the album. Clapton + Harrison = great songs. |
Yay, now I like E.L.O.!
|

Oh yeah, I forgot :upset: |
