hmm..does any one else wonder HOW so many millions of songs can be made out of the 11 notes(without octaves) we have? its like.. why doesnt stuff sound the same when they are made out of an scale... how can 2 bands sound SOOOO different? i always seem to get stuck in the same thing every time im to write an song, so that makes me wonder how people can write songs that sound so different, and play so different...

I think the exact same thing!! Everytime I try to make a song of my own I find playing the same thing, then I listen to other musicians and they just seem to make a G or D, or whatever, sound so much better.... :upset:

That makes sense to me as well. I guess there are lots of combinations of notes and shapes of chord that you can get, then all the timings and stuff.
