My student loan hasn't come through (okay, I haven't filled it out) so now I'm trying to come up with the money myself. I pretty much have it but that's just first tuition, **** my life.

Jaundice 08-10-2009 01:22 PM
Yeah I know... but he was a dick about it.
It's necessary in order to help you be less of a dumbass. :)

I mean honestly going on the school site is pretty fucking important, I would be totally fucked if I never did.

I'm taking Media, but I'm in what is essentially a double program. I go to University for Media Studies, majoring in Journalism, but I also take college classes as part of the program so I'll get a Degree and a Diploma when I graduate.

Luckily I live in Canada, so tuition isn't that bad. I had scholarships in my first year but I dicked around. I actually made a sizeable profit with all of my scholarships, hah; I think I had a $3000 surplus after books, laptop, camera.

Deth 08-10-2009 01:28 PM

75% tuition covered (was 100% before this semester LOL BAD SEMESTER) and rest covered by money my parents have saved for like 10 years in college fund. My monthly allowance for food, entertainment etc. is probably half what it is for most people and I get by fine.

TimJim 08-10-2009 01:30 PM

TimJim 08-10-2009 01:32 PM

Angmar 08-10-2009 01:34 PM

ACT is like the SAT it's a college entrance test, I didn't take it because there's really no point if you take the SAT.

Deth 08-10-2009 01:34 PM

here an A is worth a 4, B a 3 etc. then it's all averaged and ****

illmitch 08-10-2009 01:34 PM
