it's called the alloy of inhumanity.

(he's 17 )

Arucard 10-29-2005 04:57 PM

Wow. I just played the gig of my life, it was insane. I was jumping of amps, going into the crowd whilst playing and doing behind the head solos.

Pics/Video of A7X : unholy confessions tommorow.

YEH!H!!!

TojesDolan 10-29-2005 05:00 PM

I've been listening to some Borknagar lately. I liked it yeah.

And Atheist's "Unquestionable presence"... Amazing. The masters are a little "dirty sounding" But It's a cool album, indeed.

Arucard 10-29-2005 05:01 PM

Borknagar > All.

Faverouite album is Quintessence, just because of Collosus.

Im listening to Emergent. Came in today

I got about half of the CDs from my CD order, now im just waiting for the big batch from Amazon.

Axe 10-29-2005 05:15 PM

I've never used amazon for cds... is it any good?

Kingofdudes 10-29-2005 05:18 PM

They have a big selection, and havent let me down yet. But they have messed up with some people's orders.

Ad Absurdum 10-29-2005 05:19 PM

Well MX, I'm drunk again. I think I'm becoming an alcoholic, but I'm definately enjoying the whole process of becoming one.

I think Amazon is pretty good for ordering CDs, you can find quite a few good albums cheaply there (and with cheap/free delivery). They have a huge selection but some of the stuff is totally overpriced.

Neurotoxin 10-29-2005 05:20 PM

I just got back from a not-so-eventful afternoon at the library. At least I picked up some CD's...

Robbie Roberston - Classic Masters
Miles Davis - 'Round About Midnight
K-Os - Joyful Rebellion
Norah Jones - Come Away With Me
Tom Waits - Blood Money

I also picked up I <3 Huckabees which I'll probably watch in a couple minutes.

NP: 1349 - From the Deeps

So far, Mezzanine is really kicking my arse. I love the very kicked back atmosphere it creates. The drums on Angel are awesome. Anyone else heard it?

Arrakakaka 10-29-2005 05:38 PM
I'm listening to Hot Cross.
That was very misplaced

What album, anyway? Hot Cross is great.

Lord Abortion 10-29-2005 05:43 PM

How many rage against the machine fans does it take to change a lightbulb?

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-29-2005 05:48 PM

Yeah, that's the one thing holding me back from buying crap from the intraweb. Perhaps I'll just use my mom's Amazon account. She won't even notice if I snag a couple albums a month.

Ollie-

What do you think?
Anyways, I just bought Mezzanine by Massive Attack. I've no clue why I chose it, but I've heard good things about it, so I decide to risk 15 bucks on it. While I was at Best Buy, I talked to an employee about PC RPG's for a long time. What does anyone think about Neverwinter Nights, Fable, and/or Morrowwind?
Mezzanine is a brilliant album, I hope you like it. The opening three songs are one of the strongest trio of songs on any album ever, I think.

Anyway, NWN is fun, though as stated before it gets repetitive. Fable I've not yet played, but it looks great and hopefully this will soon be rectified. Morrowind looks nice, and played well, but in the end the lack of choice killed it. It claims to be realy open ended, but there were too many situations where the only way out was to fight your way out. Also, despite my claim that it plays well, the controls sometimes let it down; and it was too easy to become ridiculously proficient in things like jumping and hiding.

The best RPG is still Fallout 2.

Does anyone else think the guy from Coheed and Cambria sound's exactly like Geddy Lee from Rush?
Does anyone else think the guy from Coheed and Cambria sound's exactly like Geddy Lee from Rush?
They're both high-pitched, but they have distinctive rings that make them different.
