If my parents weren't going to help me pay for college I would've already left.

Well man, have you talked to her about it (When things are calm, it's no use trying to talk to someone while they're raging about something). If you haven't, try to explain to her that you understand where her distrust comes from, but that there's no reason to actually not trust you, because you PROMISE her that you would do anything, and that if she ever found out you did, you would be to blame/in alot of sh[I]i[/I]t for it anyways, so why would you even think about taking the risk? Then calmy explain to her that your word should mean something to her, and if it doesn't that you feel a little hurt about it..

But DON'T raise your tone of voice or say anything in a pissed off or angry manner, just say it all calmy, like you honestly want an opinion and to state yours without getting in any sort of arguement. The key is timing, do it when you know she's in a good mood, and also your way of asking, your voice shouldn't ever come even slightly close to being anything but calm.

See that is EXACTLY what I did last week, and she is still being gay this week. I tried talking VERY calmly to her, didn't help apparently. My mom is terrible just a terrible person I can't stand her. Thanks for trying to help me out though man.

I've listened to some stuff, and I bought 10,000 Days as it was reccomended to me by a friend..and to be honest, I don't get the hype about them, they're average.
