Parties are gay man. And your only in grade ten since when do they have prom?
They don't, its 11 and 12 only, but that doesn't stop him from going to the parites. I think he's a junior anyway.

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 12:49 AM

I finally cleaned and vacuumed my room today.

My school's prom is next week. It is in San Francisco, which is technically against rules (I'm guessing school district) that a school event in which students have to provide their own transportion cannot be over a bridge, or maybe it's two bridges. And SF is over at least 2. So I'm thinking next years prom will be in town. I think having it not across is a bridge, plenty of nice places in Vallejo and the surronding area, don't need to spend hundreds of dollars going to SF. But of course I'm not going. Not going to grad night either, way too expensive for something I'm going to do in August anyway (go to Disneyland)

2 1/2 hours, I'd probably stay up there for the night if I went.

shane italian 05-01-2005 12:50 AM

Our prom is gonna be at the Newport Hyatt on the beach.

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 12:52 AM

It's 7 hours for me. But its a nice drive if you are with good company, usually. Nice and calm (and boring) Highway 5

Over here the schools went all zero-tolerance on us and you have to take the bus from the school, and back to the school after. They're also breatalizing everyone on the way in or something. Its at universal studios.

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 12:54 AM

Our Grad Night is going to Universal Studios too, and they mentioned the fact that as they are leaving, the schools around there are coming in for Prom.

That's booty. I live in safeville, USA and my school doesn't even do that. But I did hear the Hyatt is gonna have security making sure kids don't get rooms at the hotel and stuff.

And Nick, how is your school's grad night coming all the way down here?

TheNowhereman42 05-01-2005 12:57 AM

It's Grad Night/Senior Trip.

They take a bus down to So Cal, go to California Adventure, back to the hotel, go to Disneyland until like 6 am, back to the hotel, to some beach, then Medieval Times, then to Universal Studios, and come back.

It's crazy, and expensive.

TheNowhereman42 05-01-2005 01:02 AM

Medieval Times is awesome I havn't been there scince the Jr. High field trip haha

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 01:03 AM

My friends (and friends of friends) want to drive down with the grad night people and crash it all. I doubt they will do it though.

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 01:04 AM

My French class was supposed to go to France, but no body wanted to go, and then my old teacher left because she was horrible at teaching and would break down and cry during class.

SactoUnited 05-01-2005 01:16 AM

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 01:17 AM

:upset: :upset: :upset:

How am I going to explain this one?

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 01:24 AM

Run to mexico, quickly.

shane italian 05-01-2005 01:26 AM

My friend always said he would run to Mexico instead of Canada if he wanted to dodge a draft (which he wouldn't, craziest little italian kid you will ever meet). He said they'll track you down in Canada and figure out that you should be in America. But he said in Mexico they'll stick you in a jail cell for a couple days and write what you did on a piece of paper that a kid ends up using to wipe his a'ss with and they forget about everything and let you go.

Brain Toad 05-01-2005 01:28 AM

Soulseek is back.

He is partially correct, Canada is SUPPOSED to send back draft dodgers, doesn't mean they will actually do it.

I can't remember if it was in the Dallas Morning News or the OC Register...but there was a story about a draft dodger who was actually in training and leaving for Iraq the next day when he got a crapload of cash and hitchhiked up to Canada and hid with this family for a while.
