I actually like every song on Disc 1 of The White Album, I think it's great. I haven't listened to Disc 2 as much, so I can't say the same for that.

My favorites on Disc 1 are "I'm So Tired", "Happiness Is A Warm Gun", "Julia", and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

Side 3 is great, as my father and I were discussing. Though I generally prefer the first disc also.

Where do you get these drug tests? It would be fun to do experiments on them to see what does/doesen't work

PinkFreud 08-01-2005 09:36 AM
I think "Bungalow Bill" is catchy as hell. I hate "Happiness is a Warm Gun".

Could have been but I'm pretty sure it was Jam2Me. (or maybe it was Keep on Phishin' )
i love happiness is a warm gun. haha.

I also like Happiness is a Warm Gun.

Sweet avatar

As my user title suggests, it's old school.

Did I start a trend?! Or did both of our old school senses just kick in at the same time?

Walrus Gumboot 08-01-2005 10:25 AM

Yesterday there was a big bike race where I live, and one of the bikers had a DSOTM jersey (You know, those lycra things)
He won the coolest jersey contest hands-down

The Clash 08-01-2005 10:27 AM

A little of both. My Old School++ accounts for both of us.

Alright cool, cause I couldn't think of a user title to go with the old schoolness, so I threw some Dane Cook in there. (/has nothing to do with classic avatar though)

Glitterati 08-01-2005 10:48 AM

Congrats on passing that test
Speaking of drugs.......Jerry Garcia was born 63 years ago today. :smoke:
I'm gonna put on Truckin' in his honor

Lunch, that's a pretty awesome avatar. Very old school, indeed.

See, I would change to my old school avatar, but it wouldn't make much sense.

Plus, I like this avatar a lot better.

(Assuming I'm talking about the Malcolm avatar)

Jam2Me 08-01-2005 01:07 PM
I thought it was Keep on Phishin' who told you that? Anyways, happy birthday Jerry!!
Yeah that was him not me.

magicbus 08-01-2005 02:59 PM

I just got back from the used cd store with "Buddy Guy - Buddy's Blues" and "Willie Dixon - I Am The Blues". Both very good.

I also rented "Gimme Shelter", that Stones movie about the Hell Angel's thing.

There's nothing I hate more than one who's as ignorant as can be to the Grateful Dead insults them for doing improvised, lengthy jams during live events. 'Cause they're the only one's who do it.

Exactly, Zeppelin used to do huge jams live, as did many other bands that I can't be arsed to name.

ATM 08-01-2005 03:28 PM

Tony Iommi originally had an 18 minute guitar solo on Warning.

Badmoon 08-01-2005 03:34 PM

I'm pushing for a group attack (like the old days), but it's not necessary, I already responded.

BludgeonySteve 08-01-2005 03:52 PM

Eh, it doesn't look like anyone has a better arguement than "omg they r teh suk!!1 jams r bad lolol". It wont be needed.
