their lyrics are pretty fucking great, but hard to translate due to heavy usage of Norwegian idioms, phrases and puns. anyway, I have their first album on my blog if you haven't got it yet. check it out. it's way too flat and clean on the production side, which is really unfortunate because the songs are tight as fuck. the new album will be far more rough though, so I'm extremely looking forward to it. and so are the band. they are far more pleased with how this one sounds compared to the previous one. yay.

if anyone who enjoyed Kråkesølv is interested in the lyrics, I've tried to translate some of them. but their lyrics are pretty weird in Norwegian, and translated they are even weirder. here's an example of the translated chorus from the song "Hjørnebrikke":

"you were a corner piece, don't ask me why. you were lovingly close, but for you I was a briefcase that you could choose to carry where I thought you were exalted. should I swallow this or should I facilitate water against embers"
