Oui! I just bought an apartment and realise my drums can't come with me so I bought a bass. A dodgy cheap one, but it's a start. A Squire J Bass.

Efrim 10-31-2006 09:40 PM

Aaron 10-31-2006 09:41 PM

Aaron 10-31-2006 09:42 PM

No problem, my keyboard doesn't have them either.

um.. can I play? No, not yet.

Where'd you learn how to speak French?

Gonna take lessons, or are you going to be a self-taught man?

Isn't Elephant Commision a wicked good band name?

Aaron 10-31-2006 09:47 PM

I did french back in school about 5 years ago, and very occasionally use it for work [I work with a maurician lady].

I'm going to teach myself. Worked for drums.. Any tips? I thought start with scales and then move into pop and pop-punk songs [cause they're easy].

if you start with bass, get serious about it or you will probably lose interest in music. alot of bass players start out, and dont know what they are doing, get some chops, and think they are the ****, then eventually quit because theyve dominated the instrument.

I am serious about it. Music is the major passion in my life, and I hated the idea of not being able to play.

/is tired of speaking in French

I would love to learn Russian! I know like 3504324 Russian speakers, so I don't think it would be hard to find someone to teach me, and I am dedicated to learning a language. I love languages and accents, and ugh! They make me so happy.

I tried to teach myself Russian, but then I quit. C'est difficile! :p

I taught myself to read and write some Arabic. That was fun!

Efrim 10-31-2006 09:55 PM

I'd learn Arabic next, it's so beautiful too. The Qu'oran is like poetry.

I'd like to learn Russian.

Yeah, I bought one of those "Learn _____ in ten minutes a day!" books.

I love those books, and they actually work for the most part if you put the effort into them. I haven't started it, yet, for Arabic, but I think I am going to start soon. I was using some other book before.

I have so many language programmes and books. It is ridiculous!
