no, the people you try to be like think its bad
So you're saying I secretly enjoy them but am too much of a tool to admit it? You're a ****ing idiot. You, for some reason, seem to revel in the fact that you conform to every scene kid stereotype and think everyone who disagrees with you is faking it and is a tool. I'm not trying to be fake it and be like someone else, which should be abundantly clear from alot of the **** I listen to.

I've never said this in a serious tone on the internet before, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, **** off non-elite.

Regarding BMTH: Their music itself isn't like, completely impassible in every way, it's just that they might as well be the 100000 other bands that sound exactly like them.

I wish Count Your Blessings had more variation to it.

Well they're promising a vastly changed sound on their new album which is out in September.

Charizard 06-22-2008 12:10 PM

yeah that should be pretty sweet

count your blessings does drag on a bit, but the high points are freaking incredible

beans 06-22-2008 12:22 PM
see thats where i come back to the point of pretentious retards on metal/hardcore forums

bring me the horizon gets bashed for one reason, and its their image
No, I like them alright. But their riffs are often generic and they have a terrible use of breakdowns.

beans 06-22-2008 12:43 PM

there's just a lot of bands that overuse the breakdown
and people are going to continue to overuse them

Charizard 06-22-2008 01:28 PM

Listening to the new KOTA atm, pretty decent. A step up from JFAC but definitely below TBDM

2muchket! 06-23-2008 05:53 AM

Cant really compare KOTA to TBDM tho'

New KOTA is sweet tho

encmetalhead 06-23-2008 10:05 AM
Cant really compare KOTA to TBDM tho'

New KOTA is sweet tho
are you kidding me? the new kota sounds exaclty like black dahlia

also, at the show on sunday, i totally did dual vocals with mike during dragon pie :D

edit: woah, dont know why i logged in on this one

Charizard 06-24-2008 01:16 PM

see you next tuesday cut their set short to make fun of some fatass hardcore kid for fighting some girl

it literally went like,
fox: dude, what the hell is your problem? leave
fat kid: **** that slut im gonna kick every girl in heres ***
andy (standing up on his drum throne): what the **** is this bullshit? go fight about it on myspace or something you queer, your like 10 times her size
etc.

another humorous part of their set was that people got pissed when they were playing new stuff because there werent any breakdowns (the new stuff is ****ing BALLIN), so in between the one instrumental and another new song fox was like

"sorry dudes, i was hoping you came here for music, but like, we'll get back to breakdowns as soon as possible" stops and points at the fat kid mentioned above "you there, do jumping jacks until the next breakdown"

ogrecore: dude i cant, im fat
fox: that's why you should do jumping jacks

2muchket! 06-24-2008 01:20 PM

Good I'm glad bands do that.

I like to dance fair enough but I wouldnt go to see a band with that as my primary objective.

And I still havent listened to a See You Next Tuesday song yet. I've told I'm not missing out on much though.

Charizard 06-24-2008 01:24 PM

idk, theyre a lot like tower of rome, but with more (and much better) breakdowns and tempo changes... as well as a lot better production, and well, their singers are both a lot better

their new stuff is gonna change people's minds, i guarentee... it's kinda sludgey metalcore with grindy parts and no (dance) breakdowns

edit: also, i was talking to mike from kota after the show on sunday, and he said theyre probably coming back to the philly area this fall... which means, ill have job then, which means im totally smoking that nigga up because hes cool as ****

beans 06-24-2008 02:09 PM

you're talking about the new cunt right?

Dimmu Burger 06-24-2008 02:52 PM

I got the new Whitechapel, listened to the first few tracks and they were good. But then I really wanted to listen to Zozobra so I did.

I would like to hear these new See You Next Tuesday song(s).

alytee123 06-24-2008 02:56 PM

The new Whitechapel slays The Somatic Defilement so hard.

Dimmu Burger 06-24-2008 02:57 PM

Good.
