i find cannabis corpse too novelty to be enjoyable.

How is it novelty? It's real death metal, just because they parody Cannibal Corpse album titles/song titles doesn't make them a novelty, far from it.

aside from a few bands (incantation, autopsy) i find dm kinda gimmicky. i just think the death vocals sound so cheesy. some pull it off, some dont. cannabis corpse is an average DM band trying to be funny with song titles etc. thus the term novelty.

Idk man I think Cannabis Corpse is great.
