Its that the restaurant couldn't justify having us play there in the winter because there was not enough customers. The band is made up mainly of quite experienced players, I'm the youngest by about 30 years generally and if we don't play at the restaurant we don't play.

Haha, I barely play bass anymore.. Just really for my college work (I'm on a music course) I've started an acoustic duo with my best friend which is going well and I'm playing acoustic guitar in it and I'm just enjoying acoustic alot more than bass really.. Maybe I'd enjoy it more if I had a rock band to play bass in, but I don't have time for it..

Shame you don't play bass that much anymore... I too play guitar and it is fun, I don't think I would really want to play it in a band though.

My bass teacher plays trumpet in the band... the previous bass player played at the Con.
