This is mx, mx is life, life is too broad to discuss.
Hmm, let's go over the list...star wars, hot pockets, pizza, haircuts, what am I forgetting?
Music? /Che |
Music?
/Che
Pfft, who discusses music on a music forum? (a) I got an audioscrobbler thing, does that count? :p /che=? |
Ah, If I'm would be spending 400 would the POD XT Live be better (as Bobo told me)? Would I have to buy fx/metal packs?
That looks like a better deal to me.
Yes because the live version is 400 $ itself, so you'd be spending 500$ to get the packs So i'd go with te 300 version |
Yes because the live version is 400 $ itself, so you'd be spending 500$ to get the packs
So i'd go with te 300 version
Ah, allright. I'll keep looking into it, and see what I decide. Thanks for the help though. I wish I had more recording skillz. I have crappy stuff, but I know its capable of making much better quality things than I have done. |
I got an audioscrobbler thing, does that count? :p
I suppose :) What's your name on it? Mine won't be updating at all, since I'm on a different computer and I'm too lazy to download a plugin. So four weeks of listening will be wasted, as far as Audioscrobbler is concerned.
/che=?
As in Guevara. :( |
What is audioscrobbler?
www.audioscrobbler.com You sign up for an account, and download the relevant plugin for what you use to listen to music (on your computer), and then it compiles all these charts and statistics about what you listen to. A bit of fun. |
My WinAmp playlist was on shuffle, and since I have nearly every In Flames and Korn song in existance on my playlist, the numbers for In Flames were in the 70's when everything else was in the 10-20 range, lol, but Korn was like 17.... wtf? Why is shuffle giving me 1 band.

'Tis quite super |
Um... A while back, we had a fairly good discussion on something. Now, what was it?
Oh, and am I the only one who thinks there are a few too many Stickies? |
Um... A while back, we had a fairly good discussion on something. Now, what was it?
Oh, and am I the only one who thinks there are a few too many Stickies?
A few? This entire page is like a sticky forest.... if put in a literal sense, it'd be like a spider web. |
It's the Shelob's Lair of MX.

As in Guevara. :(
Sorry, internet crashed. zepfan2k3 Haha, well right now I'm still at week zero so, meh. I thought so on the Che thing, I guess I just didn't get it? Way too many stickies, I agree. |
Oh, and am I the only one who thinks there are a few too many Stickies?
Yeah, there are. I've not unstickied dead polls yet though; I keep meaning to, but then getting distracted by posts in threads I'm subscribed to. |
So yeah, I have to head to uni in half an hour, to prepare for an interview on the last 4 weeks of labs, by my lecturer. Should be fun...
I'm going to get prepared while being logged in to MX, since my life is so interesting, I'm sure you all want to hear about it... I need to complete 5 tasks - Shower, Shave, Breakfast, Clothes, Chores. Wish me luck. |
Wow that concert fucking rocked.

RIVA, where have you been?! |
Wow that concert fucking rocked.
Good. What did they play? |
So I was playing guitar, and my roommate came back so, being nice, I went off amp, but then the douche took off his headphones and started using his speakers so now I'm playing acoustic. I hate it when he pulls this crap.

wow, what a dickhole.... why don't you just play amp anyway... |
wow, what a dickhole.... why don't you just play amp anyway...
It'd make me the bigger douche, and it's really loud so he couldn't listen on headphones if he wanted to. |

Ah yes... being mature. What a glorious concept... well Zep, you win in the end... for being an awesome guy. |
Good.
What did they play?
Started with Meat abstract (Didn't play that last time) Turn Gimme Back my Brain (Didn't play that last time) Diane ! (Guitar version, which was surprisingly good, they had to since Martin left) They didn't play that last time Die laughing Stories (Didn't play that last time) He's not that kinda girl (Dito) Nowhere Screamager Isolation If it kills me Rust Rise up Die like a Motherfucker Polar Bear Rock you monkeys Knives Teethgrinder Neck Freak (Also new, I think) Church of Noise Potato Junkie That's it, I think. :) Overall, the setlist was much more varied than last time, songs of every CD, this time. And the show was better, I think. Too bad that they didn't play Long Distance though, they played that last time. But certainly didn't spoil it, this was a better gig, plus Andy said that Vin Diesel is a faggot. |
Well, my shower and shave went very well. I also got a call from my girl, which cheered me up no end. My face is on fire, from the shaving lotion, but meh.
So now it comes to breakfast. See you shortly. I leave you with an image of a 6'2" Aussie with hobbit feet in the shower. |

When I saw them, they opened with Potato Junkie, which I thought was a good way to start. Seems kind of odd finishing with it. |
Okay, I lied. I only did one review, but I think it's thorough (a)
|
Time to head to Uni. The fact that only two posts made it through in the time it took me to eat, get dressed and wash the dishes is somewhat astounding.
Off to take the bin out, hang up some clothes, and fly. Fly, people, fly. |
Is that in order?
When I saw them, they opened with Potato Junkie, which I thought was a good way to start. Seems kind of odd finishing with it.
No, that's not in order, only Meat abstract and Turn, maybe gimme back my brain, my memory isn't that good. I kinda forgot what they ended with, I think Knives. But I'm not sure. |
They didn't play Long Distance
I would feel cheated if I attended that concert ! |
What band is this?
|
No, that's not in order, only Meat abstract and Turn, maybe gimme back my brain, my memory isn't that good.
I kinda forgot what they ended with, I think Knives. But I'm not sure.
Ah, okay. I just think Potato Junkie is a good song to get the crowd going, chanting, etc, at the start of a show. Maybe it's just Newcastle crowds :) |
I would feel cheated if I attended that concert !
Meh, they played it last time, so I can't complain. JPJ: Therapy? |
/me reports punk and a7x thread in here due to laziness
So I finally gave up and just put in headphones till he leaves again...I should sabotage his speakers or something. Oh yes, I thought this up in mechanics: Desire never dies, it just fades to flames quenched by the reality of failure, and debris scattered over desolate plains of the shattered dreams that once were. Like, dislike? |
JPJ: Therapy?
Ah, that would explain why I didn't know any of the songs. |
