What do you english people think of G4 from "x-factor" (that program on on saturday nights and its like pop idol)

g4 rule! They do brilliant queen covers, etc.

I detest all the reality TV shows along those lines.... arggghh

^They shouldn't. Reality TV shows are, by definition, the fakest form of TV possible.

Ok, I caught one episode of that thing when extremely bored.

The G4 are good fun. Unlike most entrants on that kind of program, they are [i]extremely[/i] talented. They don't play instruments as they are a proper, old fashioned Barber's Quartet!

That kid with the guitar, tell me he's been knocked out... Most of the contestants were run of the mill tv talent show stuff. G4 were good, kid with guitar was an insult to all that is rock, and that girl who keeps being made up to look like she's from the 50s is extremely cute.

reality tv is nothing like my reality.

I did a whole speech about why I hated reality TV last year, that was one of my main points.

You could watch a reality tv program, or you could go out and experience reality. *shrugs* I know what I'd pick.

Not as popular as they were, they're dying.

I don't think we'll see any more particularly major ones except Popstar clone programs.

But g4 are very talented!

Had, didn't use. He came on stage, toting guitar, and I thought 'Ah, this could be good' - plugs in, plays two chords, stops playing and starts singing in a fairly average voice a very tame and watered down Kinks song... I actually walked out of the room.

Yeah, i played a gig last night, got very drunk and moshed/skanked to the other bands playing for like 4 hours :thumb: plus our guitarist smashed his guitar, which was quite cool :thumb: :lol: :cool:
