Ha, tough luck man. Why was it cancelled?
|
The person who was throwing it has a cold
Out of everyone i spoke to, we've all said she would be sat there with a few people getting drunk, but told everyone it canceled. Its really stupid because i couldn't even go out in manchester or the pbu because all my money was spent on beer for this party and she canceled at such late notice. I found out at 6pm yestoday, but apparently she canceled about 2/3pm |
HAPPY NEW YEAR :D
Hello guys. I had a right hoot last night. There was a part lock-in at the pub! because it was so windy outside they bolted the doors shut, I'm kinda glad because it ended up just being all the people I knew from there anyway and some friends. We watched the bells on the tv then headed to a party up the road. There was a guy there that looked the double of Corey Taylor (seriously) I wasn't drinking and I thought he did. I'll post photos when I get them! And there was an HMV security guard that kept talking to me because I had my HMV fleece on :p He was telling us what are the best ways to steal things from the store :-/ lol Then it came to morning and we watched some movies. I got home about 10 then went to bed :D funf unfunfufnfunffnu 'sup? |
Great night last night, amazing. Went to bed at 6am this morning, got up at 11 and had a nice Martini for breakfast.
I drank a bottle of baileys stuff, half a bottle of vodka and quarter/half a bottle of Gordons. Mmm. |

 |
I think that's proper awesome.
Did you know that the entrie NHS budget, from broken legs to babies with holes in their hearts to cataract operations for pentioners is covered by the amount that comes in from the tax on cigarettes? Bit crazy, that one. |
Urgh same here I feel pretty damn tired.
Anyway, how was everyone's night? I'm assuming they were all good, I know mine was.
Mine was sound. Had about 7 cans and 6 bottles ended up watching some shite porn at like 7am. Got woke up at 12 as well my voice still hasn't recovered. |
That law is a cool on, but i can see a lot of 16/17 year old smokers being very very pissed off.
And i knew the NHS used a lot of cigarette tax, but i didnt think it covered the whole of the NHS. My mate is always saying that the NHS looses more from smokers, then what it gains in tax, but ive always said its the complete opposite. |
Nah, it's the entire NHS budget. It's crazy times.
|
It's fairgame
Think of it as half of that tax is just tax which you have to pay and the other half covers all the lung cancer |
Its a good idea to change the age limit, but it will only make a 2% difference. Kids will either steal cigarettes from their parents, or hang outside the shops going "eh ah mate, get uz some fags"
|
Or go to fag houses. Cheaper too.

Good stuff. I heard somewhere that an Asda was doing that anyway. Or that they were serving 16 y/o's but they were I.D.'d as if they had to be over 18 Happy new year guys :) Had a very sedate night last night. My brothers plans got changed and he didn't fancy going, I didn't have any plans, so we stayed in and watched Jools Holland and drank. It was pretty cool Worked today. It wasn't as packed as it has been, but then it wasn't as dead as we were expecting either :-/ We opened at 10, and within 5 minutes of the doors opening, I sold some guy Basic Instinct for a fiver o.O I mean, what? |
^ Yeah ASDA does that, my ma gets abuse daily from the fucking pikey dicks when she won't sell 'em fags without I.D.

Luckily for me, i am 18, not that i smoke, i need knifes for uni though, only craft ones and blades though. |
That and to knife bouncers with amirite ?
|
and daggers and epees and sabres, amirite?
|
Oh yes, nothing better then knifing bouncers for fun.
|
lol when I was in Guernsey my cousin and his mates and I went to the island's club (lol), and got tankered. We were 'escorted' off the premises, but first the bouncer came over and said we were to go because it was closing, and he tapped this guy on the shoulder, who rounded on him with a movement like a centrifuge, and said "Here, you're one of them bouncer shits, aren't you?"
 |

That's an ... interesting way to end the night.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6222785.stm
I would say it's a good move, but I'm not entirely sure how much of a difference it will make beyond making life more difficult for 16/17 year old smokers. Urgh back to school tomorrow :( |
i got drunk last night in leytonstone. yay

I would say it's a good move, but I'm not entirely sure how much of a difference it will make beyond making life more difficult for 16/17 year old smokers. Urgh back to school tomorrow :(
Well, kids who are 16 in school, like year 11, would go to the shop by fags and sell them on to the lower years. You would expect that to stop happening, but they will get them some other way. |

You would expect that to stop happening, but they will get them some other way.
Yeah, I'm in 6th Form and every time I go to the local shop at lunch there are always 14 year olds asking me to get them cigarettes. I wouldn't expect it to stop as there are still 18 year-olds in 6th Form, but it would get cut down. However, as you said they'll find other ways to get cigarettes. I suppose there's nothign wrong with making life more difficult for them though. |
Give 'em the finger and tell 'em to get foooked!!
|
Are there no fag houses down south ?!
|
I have no idea what a fag house is.
I presume some Middlesbrough based gay brothel? |
No. But I like the fact you connect me with me being a homosexual  There found on council estates usually basically people bring Cigarettes back from abroad and sell him cheap out there houses. Some people do it now and then some people have lorry driver buy 'em all the time and sell 'em that way. Problem is some of the cigs people get are counterfit and can really fuck you up.
