Reminds of a teacher I once had and she said she liked [b]every[/b] genre of music. After a few minutes of argueing with her:

That seems to be a pretty petty thing to call out a teacher for, but to each his own.

Round here if you wear a death metal shirt/say you like death metal you'll get a group of guys saying: "Check the goffik with ehs Marylin Manson*!!"(Check that goth listening to Marylin Manson!!). After that, they'd probably try and jump you (as long as the ratio was at least 2:1 in their favour).

*Any metal, according to neds (violent, Scottish chavs), is Marylin Manson.

I always take pride in liking so many genres, but I'm sure there are some genres I don't like, so I usually say :'I like most genres'.

I like a lot of genres. There are certain ones I can't stand either because I don't believe it's real music or I just don't like it. I like almost everything everyone in here likes and several other forums.

Well, I used to be like that, so maybe I can empathize? I dunno...I don't like humiliating people all that much anymore, unless they truly deserve to be put in their place. Otherwise, it does no good.

I know, I know. It does make you feel good though sometimes, you have to admit. I don't always do it in an evil way, naturally, to my friends I will jokingly put them in their place and they'd feel embarrassed that I outsmarted them again, but we just laugh it off.

It feels so good if you can burn someone's words to the ground if you hate that person though.
