Here's a question - why doesn't bread melt? why does it burn instead?

Also, I want to liquidise a piece of bread, and then drink bread juice. (Meaning I probably will one day, now).

Making cheese on toast, I toast one side of the bread, turn ir over, put cheese on, put under the grill til it melts.

So I technically re-toast it.
