Hey Butler, you still having trouble connecting to Xbox Live? Cos I think I know the problem with mine, something to do with an old modem which can't handle the new NTL network. I hope this sorts everything out, I'm losing all my good rep on the torrent sites because I can't f**king seed them.

I went to bed at 5PM yesterday after staying up for 24 hours, hoping I would sleep through all the night. Well, I woke up at 11PM yesterday, watched a bit of Alias while having a very late dinner, and drifted in and out of sleep until about 5AM before falling off completely. I hate sleeping through the day, especially in the holidays when I have money to spend.

Are you going threw the telebox or threw a modem?

I dont use the telebox you see, and one time my internet just stopped for a week, and then we found out its because the NTL box was an old one, and as far as i know, the one we have is still the latest one.

Somethings wrong with mine for sure. They said run it without the router for a day and ring back, but its not that simple, my bro uses his pc a lot and its always online, so i cant just cut it off.

And i never have a full day to sit here watching my connection breaking.

I just hope that this sorts everything out. I've had bad experience with NTL customer service, to the point where I actually called one of their staff retarded. If this doesn't fix it, we are moving to BT I think.

Where on NTL for the TV and Phone primarily, i cant see my mum changing over. when i move out in summer itll all be ok, but i don't want to wait that long to play games online/on live.

When i got it i had 1mb broadband, i cant help thinking that this one cant handle 4mb that well, but i cant see that tbh.

We can't even get 4MB here in Lincoln yet I don't think, the most we can get is 2MB. Which suits me fine, I download it decent speeds for what I get and uploading isn't that big a deal to me.

God I hope this gets fixed, I haven't been on Xbox Live in about 5 months.

Well, me and adam tried to have a game of Rainbow 6 Vegas, but i kept getting kicked. And me and my other mate tried to play Star wars - Empire at war, and Companey of heros, both games disconnected 10 minutes into them.

That's what happens to me. The real kick in the balls is that I'm still paying for Xbox Live every month. I think when this gets sorted I'll switch to paying yearly though since that will save me £20.

That reminds me I still haven't played F.E.A.R. yet. I should get on that, but I'm addicted to Gears. Bah!

Argh, i still need to finish dead rising, ive done 3 cases, still pretty much 3 days to wait lol. The problem is, playing it on a 15 inch or so portable tv, which is a few years old, means I cannot for the life of me, read any of the text on the screen, so i end up running about goign "what am i supposed to eb doing........"

When i buy my 2nd PC monitor, i might run my 360 threw that from time to time.

And really, you should get Gears. I didn't think it would be as amazing since I am not a big shoot 'em up fan. But wow, that game still amazes me. It's £34.99 at Blockbusters too, which is awesome.

I might rent Gears, that site you linked me too looks good for that. I dunno if its a game i would like, if i rent and like, ill buy, maybe.

I havnt used my Monitor yet, i would of but i need an adapter, or a new lead to plug it into my monitor that's not a scart.

I could plug it into the AVI slot things in the back of my PC, but i dunno how i would view the image.
