Pete 08-07-2008 04:02 PM

theyre no skinless

Aakon_Keetreh 08-07-2008 04:07 PM

someone recommend me some good new deathcore, other than whitechapel of course

Pete 08-07-2008 04:10 PM

Viatrohpy
Antagony (yeah i recommend them both for deathcore and melodeath)
Glass Casket
Last House on the Left

adb 08-07-2008 04:10 PM

burning the masses

Pete 08-07-2008 04:13 PM

camilla rhodes

adb 08-07-2008 04:21 PM
camilla rhodes
hmm, they're good but too monotonous for my taste tbh

Pete 08-07-2008 04:21 PM

seriously, what is it with canadians and making great music

Camilla Rhodes is probably my new favourite deathcore band
hmm, they're good but too monotonous for my taste tbh
idk, they're obviously nothing groundbreaking, but they do what they do really well

Aakon_Keetreh 08-07-2008 04:26 PM

i like them a lot

2muchket! 08-07-2008 04:55 PM
Viatrohpy

+ The Red Shore, The Argent Dawn, From Graves of Valor and Veil of Maya.

encmetalhead 08-07-2008 05:12 PM

After The Burial, Graves of Valor (ex-From Graves of Valor(frankie!!!!)), Veil Of Maya, Left To Vanish, Burning Skies

2muchket! 08-07-2008 05:54 PM

Will always be 'from' imo

encmetalhead 08-07-2008 06:34 PM

true but you gotta go with the band and when you recommend you have to drop the from but will forever be FGOV to me

carbombsandconversations 08-08-2008 12:33 AM

listen to the boy will (****ing) drown, theyre incredible

it took me a while to digest them, but holy ****, the different elements they mix... soooooooo good

beans 08-08-2008 12:39 AM

viatrophy is ace

adb 08-08-2008 12:42 AM

finally some mother ****ing recognition for Viatrophy's jokes metal

beans 08-08-2008 12:43 AM

jokes metal?
i dont get it
something with their lyrics im assuming?

2muchket! 08-08-2008 04:25 AM
jokes metal?

you obviously need to tuck some more of their jokes metal

(the real answer is one of their friends made a t-shirt here http://a524.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/43/l_e4bc1ccb064e35575fe1260e79b29ceb.jpg, so they made into some real merch)

but generally their blogs and bulletins are pretty funny.

but yeah

EVEEEEEN MORE RECOGNITION

adb 08-08-2008 11:54 AM

I could go to the last tour date, but nah

I'm still pissed Necrophagist is headlining a tour w/ VoM and BTM and they're not even coming to Cali

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 11:55 AM
I could go to the last tour date, but nah

Dang I'd love to go to that tour, but that's not coming to Batimore or DC either I don't think.

adb 08-08-2008 11:58 AM

Oh and I can't make it to the Thrash and burn too. For sure I'm going to the Whitechapel headlining show, an Animosity one, and an ABR one in the next month though

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 11:59 AM

I should be going to Thrash and Burn in a few weeks. I got 60 bucks saved up for merch too!

adb 08-08-2008 12:00 PM

lol, yeah I wanted to get an Arsis hoodie and possibly some Abigail Williams merch if they had any but I guess not

Dimmu Burger 08-08-2008 12:03 PM

I'll probably hit up Arsis and Misery Signals stuff and maybe the special guest band if they're anybody I like.

encmetalhead 08-08-2008 12:55 PM

Big concerts need to stop skiping Greenville, NC, we're a college city damnit! We don't want to drive an hour and a half to 2 hours to go to Jacksonville or the middle of the state

adb 08-08-2008 01:09 PM

Yeah, damnit!

Aakon_Keetreh 08-08-2008 01:20 PM

who cares hahaha

adb 08-08-2008 02:16 PM

I'm listening to the Analyst atm, definitely if you like old ABRB check-em out

http://myspace.com/theanalystmetal

The highs are awesome

carbombsandconversations 08-08-2008 03:56 PM

like 10,000 times better than ABRB and not even that similar to them

and from what i can tell, not deathcore but good try!

adb 08-08-2008 04:05 PM

lemme guess, you went on their myspace and saw Thrash/Death Metal/Black Metal
so they must not be deathcore then!

beans 08-08-2008 04:43 PM
I should be going to Thrash and Burn in a few weeks. I got 60 bucks saved up for merch too!
hell yeah, im saving about that for merch too
gonna be a sick show

carbombsandconversations 08-08-2008 05:25 PM
lemme guess, you went on their myspace and saw Thrash/Death Metal/Black Metal

more like the fact that their music doesnt have fucking hardcore parts you snippy little cunt, but you don't even listen to hardcore, so you'd know better than me, definitely

but then again they TOTALLY sound like old ABRB!!!!!!!!!!

adb 08-08-2008 05:30 PM

The similarities are there. Chugging riffs/mediocre soloing, highs, lows, and hardcore-style vocals/tough guy parts during the breakdowns, etc.

carbombsandconversations 08-08-2008 05:33 PM

except

no tuffguy parts, either band

didnt hear hardcore vocals

the riffs were completely different from abrb as well as the breakdowns

just saying, you should get your ears checked
