Bulldogabel 07-03-2004 10:48 PM

clown_phobia 07-04-2004 05:46 AM

we converted one :thumb: Welcome  what album did you buy?

redoutlaw 07-04-2004 10:13 PM

And justice for all is my favorite album, those are real metal songs on the album.

This thread has been ****ing awesome. Props to evryone who has kept this thing going.

Metallica is awesome, and will never die.

redoutlaw 07-04-2004 10:15 PM

I'm pretty excited to see Some Kind Of Monster when it comes out. I bet after everyone who sees it are really gonna see what metallica is about and all the **** they've gone through. People should gain a better respect from them instead of making stupid insults or just completely dissing the guys.

DeaconPhoenix 07-04-2004 10:20 PM

Nope, we'll still see insults flying at poor ol' Lars over the Napster incident.

redoutlaw 07-04-2004 10:24 PM

This thread has been awesome. I say the majority of people who have posted on this thread have been influenced and or inspired by Metallica or respect them one way or the other. I have. I hope people who have read this thread have opened their eyes or have gained a much bigger respect from it. Mcpheely right on bro getting a metallica album. Whether or not you like Metallica everyone who listens to metal or is listens to music must respect Metallica. Theese guys are on top for a reason. They are real, and ****ing have balls. They did what it took. Now that in itself should be inspirational for anyone who picks up an instrument, mic/lyrics or plays drums.

redoutlaw 07-04-2004 10:27 PM
Nope, we'll still see insults flying at poor ol' Lars over the Napster incident.
Its always easy to talk smack about the best. People now-a-days are so envyous that the find poor little excuses to ****ing chop um down. No ones perfect, get over it. I'm sure everyone has made a mistake or two in their lives. Admire the guy for what hees done. Take the good with the bad. Obviously there is more good.

dead56k 07-04-2004 11:28 PM

redoutlaw, i gotta commend you on your loyalty to the band. :chug: your allright in my book. i agree with what you said about lars, its easy as hell to bash him. however, for those of you who dont mind takin a few minutes, go to the official metallica site, and find in the news archives Lars' appeal to the supreme court against napster. His argument hits every point, it makes so much sense.

TallicaFan4life 07-04-2004 11:48 PM

thats because lars is awesome... duh.... lol

dead56k 07-05-2004 12:53 AM

lol yeah he is. only reason i brought it up is because of all the people who says he sucks just cuz of the napster thing. hes a good ****ing drummer, alot of people fail to see that after the napster thing. **** them.

clown_phobia 07-05-2004 01:11 AM

i really like lars' drumming on the black album

TallicaFan4life 07-05-2004 01:55 AM

*bumps*

Lars is no where near a god of drumming BTW.

redoutlaw 07-05-2004 12:42 PM

The best drummer from metal have been Lars and the Iron Maiden drummer period, Dave Lombardo is a pretty fast mother****er though. Still i'd go with Lars anyday.

TallicaFan4life 07-05-2004 12:58 PM

**** right redoutlaw

Squirrel 07-05-2004 01:03 PM

When you say metal; do you mean just metal or any genre of metal ?

If metal, Lombardo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lars

Other genres, lots of others >>>>>>>>> Lars.

MurdocodruM 07-05-2004 03:48 PM

lars isn't anywhere near the best metal drummer
